MGH Neurology - Neurology Web-Forum MGH Neurology Webforums. As of 1/1/2000, we have up and running a BRAND NEW Neurology Webforum! John Lester, MGH Neurology Webspinner. http://neuro-www.mgh.harvard.edu/forum/
Extractions: As of 1/1/2000, we have up and running a BRAND NEW Neurology Webforum! I have listened to all of your feedback and recommendations on new forum formats, and I have been experimenting on my own with different forum software to see if it would meet all of your requests. I finally found a webforum setup that I think will give us exactly what we need. Some of the key features of this new forum: Registration Based - anyone can read all of the posts, but if you want to MAKE a post you must REGISTER. HOWEVER, you DO NOT sacrifice your privacy. You do not need to use a real name, and your email address is only ever known to ME and my assistants. Email notification of answered messages - you can choose the option of having an email sent to you automatically telling you if someone has replied to a post you have made! Searching - need I say more? :) Advanced "anti troll" features - many of you have asked me "how can we keep the occasional but irritating troublemakers away?" Well, this new forum has features that will allow me to keep better tabs on all of the users. And it will be much easier for me to identify and deal with abusive users. Sounds cool, yes? Well, it IS! The new system is really user friendly, and not that difficult to learn...really!
