ATYPICAL UNERUPTED DENTITION: DIAGNOSIS AND THERAPEUTICS Cleidocranial Dysostosis (Marie Sainton disease, Syndrome of Schenthauermarie-sainton,Mutational Dysostosis) is one of the most common among us; it is a http://www.epub.org.br/ojdom/vol03n04/caso20/atyp.htm
Extractions: The authors report a study on the more complex cases of unerupted dentition, analyse the clinical and radiographic aspects, aimed at diagnosis, and discuss the surgical techniques of treatment. The study also analyses the possibility of using stimulating substances to promote ossification. Among the developmental alterations, unerupted teeth represent a very important chapter in modern Dentistry (in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Surgery) in recent years. The unerupted teeth are those that (isolated or in groups) for some reason cannot surpass the bone-gingival structure, either by the absence of an eruptive force ( these are often referred to as "embedded teeth" )or by a mechanical barrier (these are usually referred to as "impacted teeth"). Impacted teeth are those which could not erupt because of some physical barrier in the eruption route. Some authors do not differentiate between the two terms and call all unerupted teeth "impacted teeth". Shafer, 1987. There are several forms of pathosis which may cause an alteration in the eruption of the dentition, such as the Syndrome of Hurler-Scheie, Autosomal Recessive Amelogenese Imperfecta, of the rough type, the amelo-onic-hypohydrotic syndrome, the trico-dental-osseous syndrome; Congenital Dyskeratosis (Zinsser-Engman-Cole Syndrome), Gardner Syndrome (Intestinal Polyposis); Cleidocranial Dysplasia or Cleidocranial Dysostosis.
