Years ago, patients with poor circulation due to diabetes or other atherosclerotic disorders often faced major amputation. Our aggressive approach to limb threatening circulatory disorders has prevented the need for amputation in most cases. We offer a broad spectrum of treatment options to the patient with lower limb vascular disease. In most cases, the treatment is conservative and may only involve life-style alterations and/or medication. In cases where a more aggressive is indicated, a multi-modality approach may be used including interventional therapy (i.e. balloon angioplasty, thrombolysis) and advanced surgical techniques.
