CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER
I am a trained therapist and a member of the Professional Order of Social Workers of Quebec (OPTSQ). My academic qualifications and professional experiences are numerous.
I have a private practice in Montreal. My specialties include helping individuals, couples, and families to deal more effectively with mental illness in the family , trauma, relationships, anxiety, disability, addictions, loss and bereavement.
The style of therapy I offer is an inter-active, two-way dialogue, free of judgements. Work with children is through play, which I have found to be especially effective when dealing with acting-out behaviors or emotional concerns.
Adolescents also seem to respond well to a more relaxed approach while family issues become easier to manage when the work is professionally supported and all family members feel heard.
For the individual, there can be much emotional pain when dealing with, for example, childhood events or in grieving a death or non-death losses such as divorce or illness. This is work we can do together.

This site is a self-help guide for people who have significant trouble with anxiety and phobias.
Everybody experiences anxiety periodically. But some people experience more than their share, and suffer anxiety to such an extent that it becomes a disruptive force in their life. If you are such a person, this site can help you get the information and resources you need to learn how to tame this anxiety and enjoy your life. You may already know that these kinds of problems are called "anxiety disorders." Most of the people I work with dislike this name, and I don't care much for it either. But it's so widely used that we're stuck with it, and so I'll use it here. The name's not important. What's important is learning how to manage your anxiety so that it doesn't disrupt your life. For those of you who may have suffered a long time, and are feeling pretty hopeless and pessimistic about it, let me just mention that these problems are:

Drop me a line I am here to help! SAITO THERAPY The best way to cure ANXIETY DISORDER Our aim is to help people to relieve the pain of anxiety with a unique oriental approach. This site is run on a strictly non-commercial basis. We hope to stimulate a constructive debate about Saito Therapy amongst all those who either suffer from or seek to treat Anxiety Disorder What is Saito Therapy This therapy was developed by me (Mr Saito) as a result of suffering from and then curing my own Anxiety Disorder. Saito Therapy is a combination of traditional Japanese Zen meditation and Morita Therapy which was developed by Dr Morita in 1920s. Dr Morita suffered from Anxiety Disorder when he was a university student. He attempted to overcome this disorder by reading books, taking medication, practicing Zen meditation and all sorts of other therapies. But eventually he gave up trying and started studying hard for his exams. He was cured and he became professor of psychiatry at Jikei Medical University. He then began Morita Therapy and this therapy has been accepted as an orthodox method in Japan for nearly 80 years. But despite its reputation and prevalence, it is hard to find anyone who has actually been cured by it. I, myself, underwent Morita Therapy for a total of 4 months and saw no improvement.

More rarely it may involve a fear of using a public restroom, eating out, talking on the phone or writing in the presence of other people, such as when signing a check. People with social phobia aren’t necessarily shy at all.
They can be completely at ease with people most of the time,
but in particular situations, they feel intense anxiety.
About 80% of people who suffer from social phobia find relief from their symptoms when treated with cognitive-behavioral therapy The medications that have proven effective include antidepressants called MAO inhibitors. People with a specific form of social phobia called performance phobia have been helped by drugs called beta-blockers. For example, musicians or others with this anxiety may be prescribed a beta-blocker for use on the day of a performance. Grant Me The Serenity...
