Yes, it's finally gone. I was never going to do anything with it. It may resurrect under a different name at this same address, but then again, it may not. I've never actually had content for it, you know. (IDIMTUAIGA does not count!). I feel better laying it to rest now than allowing it to remain a blemish on the Internet. My skins are still available for download, however, just at a slightly different address . You may also view screenshots of my old layouts from this site and others. My blog is still alive and kickin', I have a pretty active forum , I have two domains now, and my Dynasty Warriors site continues to grow. So if you want me, there are plenty of other places to look. Review: 'Insomnia' one of year's best
Twists and turns will keep viewers awake and edgy
By Paul Tatara CNN Reviewer (CNN) Enough with the gee-whiz spider webs and humming light sabers Christopher Nolan's "Insomnia" is the best movie of the summer, a drum-tight psychological thriller that features a trio of acutely focused actors. Nolan, who announced himself as a major talent with last year's backward-running indie feature, "Memento," is in the big leagues now. Though "Insomnia" is a relatively mainstream project, he's lost none of his dense narrative control, and he still takes pleasure in tightening the screws on a panicked character, this time courtesy of an environment where the sun literally never sets. Pacino delivers his best performance in years, as Will Dormer, a veteran Los Angeles police detective who's sent, along with his partner, Hap Eckhart (Martin Donovan), to investigate the brutal murder of a 17-year-old girl in a small Alaskan village. Nolan and cinematographer Wally Pfister waste no time establishing an ominous tone, as the detectives' seaplane cruises through slate gray skies over a jagged landscape of ice and snow.

What is Insomnia?
Insomnia is abnormal wakefulness, poor-quality sleep or inability to sleep. Insomnia may cause problems during the day, such as tiredness, a lack of energy, difficulty concentrating, and irritability. Almost everyone experiences some level of insomnia. It can be as simple as not being able to fall asleep because excitement of the day ahead or a change in sleeping patterns. There are different classifications of insomnia: transient, intermittent, and chronic. Transient insomnia is short term insomnia. It can last from a single night to a few weeks. Intermittent Insomnia is insomnia that occurs on and off. Chronic insomnia is insomnia that occurs constantly, usually most nights and lasts for a month or more. Who gets Insomnia? Anyone can have insomnia. Usually it occurs in women, the elderly, and individuals with a history of depression, or bipolar disorder . Stress, anxiety, a medical problem, or the use of certain medications can contribute to developing insomnia.

Insomnia is not a disease but the sensation of daytime fatigue and impaired performance caused by insufficient sleep. In general, people with insomnia experience one of the following:
  • An inability to sleep despite being tired.
  • A light, fitful sleep that leaves one fatigued upon awakening.
  • Waking up too early.
Definition of Chronic Insomnia Insomnia, usually temporary, is often categorized by how long it lasts:
Transient insomnia lasts for a few days.
Short-term insomnia for no more than three weeks.
Chronic insomnia occurs when the following characteristics are present:
  • When a person has difficulty falling asleep, maintaining sleep, or has nonrestorative sleep for at least three nights a week for one month or longer.
  • In addition, the patient is distressed and believes that normal daily functioning is impaired because of sleep loss.

Insomnia is the remake of the equally-named 1997 norwegian thriller
Veteran police officer Will Dormer (played by Al Pacino) is sent from the city to a small Alaska town to investigate the murder of a teenage girl. While chasing a suspect (Robin Williams) through the fog, Dormer accidently kills his partner. Instead of admitting his guilt, Dormer is given an unexpected alibi. But despite this he is looked after by the local idealistic detective Ellie Bur (Hilary Swank) while he himself has to find the murderer (Robin Williams). But the murderer knows of Dormer's guilt and starts to blackmail him and forces the detective into a cat-and-mouse game.

The new trains actually don't run any faster than the existing ones, but the new track and service schedule allows them to run at their top speed of 79 MPH for longer stretches. Commuters on the weekday service can expect much quicker trips up and down the Peninsula aboard the five morning and five evening trains that make up the Baby Bullet service.     Sleep is as essential to us as food, air and water. Sometime in your life you may have difficulty sleeping - many people do. Anyone can suffer from insomnia, although sleeping problems are more common among women (especially menopausal), the ill, the elderly, smokers, and alcoholics. Sleep problems are, however, surprisingly common among young people. While it is not an illness and is in no way life-threatening, insomnia can be very distressing, frustrating, exhausting, depressing and at worst it can make you feel like you're going crazy.
    Types of Insomnia
    There are two broad categories:
    • Chronic insomnia - lasting for several weeks, months or even years
    • Transient insomnia - lasting for a few nights or weeks only, usually connected to a stressful event e.g. an exam, a bereavement.
    Within these broad categories insomnia usually takes one or more of the following forms:
    • Difficulty falling asleep - more common among young people
    • Sleeping lightly and restlessly, waking often, lying awake in the middle of the night - more common in people over 40. In younger people it may be associated with depression.
    • Waking early and being unable to get back to sleep - this is more common in older people and anyone worrying about something in particular.

    Insomnia is a sleep disorder characterised by an inability to sleep and/or to remain asleep for a reasonable period during the night. Sufferers typically complain of being unable to close their eyes for more than a few minutes at a time, or of 'tossing and turning' through the night. If insomnia continues for more than a few nights running, it can become chronic and cause a sleep deficit that is extremely detrimental to the sufferer's well-being. Insomnia interrupts the natural sleep cycle , which can be hard to restore. Some insomniacs unwittingly perpetuate their complaint by napping in the late afternoon or early evening, leading to wakefulness at bedtime and more insomnia. Others push their bodies to the limits, until their sleep deficit causes severe physical and mental effects.     U p to one third of patients seen in the primary care setting experience occasional difficulties in sleeping, and up to 10 percent of patients have chronic sleep problems. Although insomnia is rarely the chief reason for an office visit, its detection may be enhanced by incorporating sleep-related questions into the general review of patient systems. This article offers up-to-date information on insomnia and highlights the key role of the primary care physician in its recognition and management. Behavior approaches, such as relaxation therapy, sleep restriction therapy and stimulus control therapy, are described, in addition to pharmacologic treatments such as hypnotic medications, antidepressants and other medications. Definition and Prevalence Insomnia is an experience of inadequate or poor-quality sleep characterized by one or more of the following problems: difficulty falling asleep, difficulty maintaining sleep, waking up too early in the morning and sleep that is not refreshing. Insomnia also involves daytime consequences such as fatigue, lack of energy, difficulty concentrating and irritability.
