He will be eight next month and is also not fully potty trained (at night) it took us until he was over 5 to get him to use the toilet for bowel movements and we are still working on staying dry at night. We hoped that this was just a normal problem but we have gone as far as trying a medicine that is supposed to help the "normal" problems of bedwetting and that has not helped. I hope that one day he will be fully trained at night and that it's just a developmental thing still, but we'll just have to wait it out. What types of things has your son struggled with in school and did you find certain things that seemed to help more than others. The syndrome is twice as common males as in females. Most cases are sporadic, but it also occurs as autosomal recessive, autosomal dominant, and X-linked traits.
