Extractions: Grapevine Directory Index by year of graduation BENTLEY, REBECCA, nee GRANT (Vanbrugh, Music). Peripatetic Teacher. I graduated from York in 1980 and spent the following year at Bulmershe College of Education in Reading where I completed a PGCE. My first teaching post was at Milton Keynes as a peripatetic teacher of woodwind, specialising in oboe teaching. In 1986 I applied for a similar post in Bedfordshire and have worked with that authority ever since. After a period of uncertainty due to local government review, I have recently been appointed Head of Woodwind for New Bedfordshire. In 1986 I married Andrew Bentley, a freelance musician and violinist whom I met whilst playing in the Milton Keynes Chamber Orchestra. I started work in banking a year after York (The City in The Eighties). I then left to return to my language roots. I am now teaching English to foreign executives. Also, jointly, I am mortgaged in Tufnell Park, North London. I still occasionally see Miranda and hear about Debbie, plus Jill and Billy. EVANS, DEAN (Wentworth, Economics)
