Cancer Targeted Drug Delivery Laboratory Cancer Targeted Drug Delivery Laboratory at Case Western Reserve University multidisciplinary lab in biomedical engineering developing targeted therapies for cancer. http://bme.cwru.edu/facilities/ctdd/index.html
Extractions: Welcome The Cancer Targeted Drug Delivery Laboratory (CTDDL) is a unique part of the Biomedical Engineering Department at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. Under the leadership of Dr. Jinming Gao, the CTDDL is a multidisciplinary enviroment focused on applying technological advances in chemistry and engineering to developing targeted therapies for cancer. The members of the lab are a diverse group, both in personality and in academic interests, which include chemistry, macromolecular science, biomedical engineering and medicine. However, we feel that the strength of the lab lies in its multifaceted approach to dealing with the future of cancer therapy. We welcome you to this web site in which we hope you can learn a little bit more about the CTDDL. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at any time. Design by Brent Weinberg

Research Projects in Other Fields 1. Biomedical Engineering at Tufts University Biomedical Engineering is an interdisciplinary domain which links many disciplines such as engineering, medicine, biology, physics, psychology, etc. This quickly growing field must meet the needs of industrial, clinical, and scientific research communities. It involves the application of state-of-the-art technology to the creation of methodologies and devices for human welfare and for better understanding of human biological processes. At Tufts we put the emphasis on the design and application of biomedical devices, an area where the Bay State has strong infrastructure. The Biomedical Engineering Program at Tufts University is administered by the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department. There are various options for studying Biomedical Engineering. At the undergraduate level we offer a Minor in Biomedical Engineering and a Second Major in Biomedical Engineering. Both options are opened to Liberal Arts as well as Engineering students. At the graduate level we offer the Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Biomedical Engineering. We also offer two combined degree programs: the Engineering-Medical Degrees (EMD) Program and the Engineering-Dental Degrees (EDD) Program. The EMD program includes the degrees Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering, Master of Science (MS) in Engineering, and Doctor of Medicine (MD). The EDD Program includes the degrees Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering, Master of Science (MS) in Engineering, and Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).

OGI School Of Science & Engineering BME. biomedical engineering Department. Welcome to BME, the newestdepartment at OGI. The Department of biomedical engineering brings http://www.bme.ogi.edu/
Extractions: The Department of Biomedical Engineering brings together clinicians, researchers, educators and students with backgrounds and interest in biology, medicine, and engineering. Building on existing strengths of the OGI School of Science and Engineering, the School of Medicine, and the School of Dentistry, the BME department provides unparalleled opportunities for students to excel and contribute to this rapidly growing and important field. Future is bright for Biomedical Engineers Biomedical engineering is the fastest growing engineering field in the world today. Employment for biomedical engineers is expected to increase by 31.4% by 2010, about twice the national average for all occupations. In Oregon alone, some 185 bioscience companies employ more than 3000 people, and have experienced an astonishing 10% growth over the 1999-2002 period, during which the economy was in recession.
