Extractions: March 24 - Only a few months ago, it was difficult to imagine the Amherst women's hockey team would accomplish so much in the upcoming winter, like shattering a school record with 13 victories. Jim Plumer, a former assistant for the womens hockey program at Bowdoin College, had assumed head coaching duties in July, and with that change came high hopes, yet also some uncertainty.
