If you as an individual cannot fathom fighting, if fighting seems cruel or not moraly correct, if it makes you feel dirty or guilty then maybe you are a pacifist. Sometimes a fighter with no martial art knowledge can take on a martial artist with years of experience.... its all about you as an individual and how you train in whichever martial art you pick that is important. But Muay Thai is effective because it cuts out all the flashy stuff and keeps what is practical in a fight, it has very good standing clinch and strike delivery system but ground work in Muay Thai is non existant, Pahuyuth is the more combat orientated martial art from Thailand, that is where Muay Thai comes from.

Extractions: Vrijdag 31 oktober 2003 was er in Rotterdam wederom een Combinatie training tussen drie verschillende vechtsystemen. De training duurde 3 uur. Het eerste uur Heeft Sifu Dick Wachtberger les gegeven in Wing Chun. Sifu heeft uitgebreid verteld wat de essentie van het Wing Chun is. Met uitleg over de principes en wat de punten zijn die we uit de legende kunnen leren. Vervolgens heeft Sifu John van der Spek het overgenomen en heeft een uur lang les gegeven in het thaiboksen. Dit was een lekkere maar ook conditioneel zware training. In deze les zijn diverse trap en stoottechnieken behandeld. Het laatste uur was gereserveerd voor het Free Fight, oftewel het Jee Yau Bok Kik. Dit was de eerste les in het opleidingsprogramma voor dit seizoen. Er zijn onder andere armklemmen, nekklemmen en beenklemmen behandeld.
