Bells Founders. Loughborough 1906 J. Kerry Williams, Rector, W. Morris, J. burchnall CW1906 4th. 4cwt0qtr-15lb. 10cwt-2qtr-4lb. William Harstaff, joseph Lewin, CW. http://pages.zdnet.com/anstey200/ansteyparishchurch/id12.html
Extractions: 1723 - The five largest bells were cast by Immanuel Halton. It is likely that the 3 earlier bells were melted down and the material incorporated. It is understood that he had been in partnership with Hedderly at the Bawtry bell foundry, but that when Halton cast the bells he was on his own, based at South Wingfield in Derbyshire, and travelled. In view of the difficulties of transport in those days - (until the enclosures in the mid-18th Century, Anstey had only narrow tracks leading to it) - it is likely that the casting of the bells was done near the church.

Extractions: First coined by a literary group in the 1920's, Surrealist poets would each supply one line of a total poem, usually resulting in as eclectic stream-of-consciousness creation. This game was later adopted by groups of artists, who would take turns drawing one part of a human figure without seeing what the others had contributed. The result was fantastic, bizarre... an "Exquisite Corpse!" Although almost a century old in concept, the spirit of the Corpse still seems relevant and exciting, a means to celebrate the diverse visions that we find in contemporary arts today... and it seemed to be the perfect Windsor community-based project, a great opportunity for artists from a variety of fields and backgrounds to come together to share their vision in a collective context. As of 2003, the third version of the game is taking place in the Windsor area. Each time we play, a ton of local artists working in a plethora of different mediums choose to participate, and fantastic and bizarre collaborations are exactly what we expect! How Does it Work?
