Eonic And DoubleBW Merge! Provider of bulk signal processing solutions including a quad FCM pulse compressor and floating point FFT processor. http://www.doublebw.com
Extractions: Issued: time 17:45:30 date 07/05/2003 Eonic Solutions and DoubleBW merge into Eonic BV DoubleBW Systems BV Netherlands and Eonic Solutions GmbH, Ulm, Germany, today announced the merger of both companies and their technologies. The resulting company will operate under the new identity of Eonic B.V. and will be headquarted in Delft, The Netherlands. DoubleBW's core product is its PowerFFT processor, the fastest floating-point FFT processor in the world . Capable of handling sustained data rates at over 100 Msps while typically only consuming 1 Watt and providing up to 139 dB of signal-to-noise ratio, the PowerFFT processor is the core of doubleBW's high-end front-end DSP products. Eonic's core product is the Atlas high-end scalable DSP computer based on its unique CSPA (Communicating Signal Processing Architecture). Systems start with just a single DSP or G4 processor and feature reconfigurable switch fabrics in FPGAs, allowing to build systems with several 100's of processing and I/O nodes while customizing the front-end processing and communication stream for each application in software, without the need for a hardware redesign. The combined technologies provide out-of-the box system solutions addressing the needs of various applications like high-speed laser control, vision systems, sonar, radar, 3G and 4G telecommunication systems.

Extractions: System 3 Tech Notes Last Updated: 05/21/04 System 3 Online Help Updated: 04/23/2004 Introducing . . . The Pentusa Multi-DSP Processor A revolutionary multiprocessor architecture makes the Pentusa (RX5) ideally suited to process and serve up multiple channels of acquired data. Housing up to five ultra-fast DSPs, the Pentusa base station is specifically designed to process high channel count neurophysiology data in real-time. By linking together multiple DSPs into a single integrated hardware device, the Pentusa streamlines hardware connection and software control of high channel-count input. With simultaneous access to up to four preamplifiers, programming and control of as many as 64 data acquisition channels can be accomplished on a single device. Microwire Arrays You can now get your customized electrode arrays from TDT. These affordable arrays feature direct connections to the Medusa chronic headstage and the assurance of dependability that you have come to expect from TDT. Just specify wire species, diameter, insulation, and array geometry when you order. When you need reliable quality and performance, TDT delivers.

Research Research group focusing on development of efficient algorithms for signal and image processing problems. http://ssg.mit.edu/research/research.shtml
Extractions: Philip Greenspun The focus of our work is on the development of efficient algorithms for signal and image processing problems. More specifically, we address real-world problems with large dimensionality for which computationally efficient data analysis is a primary concern. Such problems arise in a wide range of areas: geophysical inverse problems (oceanography, groundwater hydrology), remote sensing problems (automatic target recognition from synthetic aperture radar), and non-destructive evaluation problems (medical imaging using tomography). We address problems in these areas by applying (1) methods in signal and image processing, (2) the theory of optimal statistical estimation and detection, and (3) multiscale methods. The following reserach summaries provide details on specific projects.
