The chronology of Ancient Egypt tends to stir up quite a bit of debate. The problem is that we can't pin down the exact dates at which the various pharaohs would have reigned. There is the Orthodox Chronology , which is the ballpark you'll find in most books, and there are variants of "New Chronology" which have been proposed, the most controversial, yet most plausible, of which is the version put forward by David Rohl at www.nunki.net
