Extractions: The complexity of social interactions, caused by increased inter-cultural and cross-cultural engagements, requires new and innovative strategies for program development and technology transfer. Organizations need additional ideas, expertise and experienced personnel to increase their prospects for success in designing strategies for reaching multi-cultural populations. The staff of the ACARC use applied holistic approach to resolve issues caused by misunderstandings resulting from differences in cultural communication and behavior. Anthropologists study the differences and similarities, both biological and cultural, in human populations in all periods, and in all parts of the world. Few, if any, other professional or academic approaches offer a comprehensive examination, understanding and methodology to address social issues and human diversity questions. Anthropologists have provided solutions for improving people's lives, and have participated in monitoring the activities of others, e.g., analyzing program interventions; analyzing environmental constraints, both social and biological; examining political structures, economic or subsistence influences; religious constraints, or external influences. While the foundation model used derives from anthropology, specialists from a wide variety of disciplines will be brought together, as necessary, to make the Center's activities holistic.
