The second example concerns an agrarian custom attested among the Croatian population of the region of Bac ka (Vojvodina), whereby sheafs of wheat at harvest are arranged into piles in the form of a cross ( krst ), each of which is placed on top of one sheaf called "the wolf" ( kurjak ) and is completed on top by a sheaf called "the priest" ( popo ).
