Aslan's Kin: Interfaith Fantasy And Science Fiction Passages from authors discussing the connection between religion, fantasy, and science fiction. Includes links to sites on christian, Humanist, Jewish, Pagan, and other religious speculative fiction. http://www.greenbelt.com/news/aslan
Extractions: Interfaith Fantasy and Science Fiction Web sites exist that are dedicated to Christian fantasy, Humanist speculative fiction, Jewish science fiction, Pagan mythology in modern novels, and other such topics, but this site is intended to explore the spiritual fantasy and science fiction of all faiths. Many of the authors listed here were interested in spiritual belief systems other than their own, so it does them no disservice to place them in a multifaith setting. Most of this site consists of passages from authors who have written about the connection between spirituality and fantasy or the connection between spirituality and science fiction. The final page of the site consists of links to sites on these themes and on individual authors who have written spiritual fantasy and science fiction. The contents of this site are free. However, if you enjoy this site and would like to donate a dollar or two (in whatever currency you use), you may want to visit my donations page. G. K. Chesterton

As a Creation Scientist, one of my greatest duties that I take great pleasure in is introducing the works of the Lord to the young generation. The sparkle of wonderment that fills their eyes in knowing the creative power of God fills my heart with the Lord's divine Love. It however saddens me greatly that the proponents of Evolutionism have corrupted this true purpose of science and are instead using it as a propaganda tool to spread Secularism. But what is education for if not to fight against ignorance such as that? Our children are the future face of Science and we must teach them to recognize the truth of the Word of the Lord so as to break the cycle of Evolutionism dogma that is paralyzing scientific development and making higher education a dumping ground for the excesses of materialistic philosophies. To that end, the

Z Christian archaeology is that branch of the science of archaeology the object of which is the study of ancient Christian monuments. The modern historian who endeavours to reconstruct the life of the primitive Christians has two sources of information to draw upon, namely: literary and monumental sources. By literary sources is commonly understood the existing remains of early Christian literature; monumental sources consist of the various classes of objects of a material character surviving from antiquity, which were produced by Christians or under Christian influence, sepulchral inscriptions, paintings, sculptures churches, and the products of the minor arts. The principal aim of Christian archaeology, as indicated, is to ascertain all that is possible relative to the manners and customs of the early Christians from the monuments of Christian antiquity. Any attempt to determine the date when the period loosely designated "Christian Antiquity" gave place to the medieval period must of necessity be more or less arbitrary. As a consequence of this difficulty, differences of opinion exist among archaeologists as to the chronological limits to be assigned to

Organic Evolution, A Pagan Religion Evolution discussed along with, creation, science and the Bible, the missing link, transmutation, pagan religion, creation vs. evolution and other aspects of this raging debate. A christian tract on evolution. http://www.evolutionfantasy.org
Extractions: A Pagan Religion A Christian Tract by Donald G. Scott, Ph.D. "DOG GIVES BIRTH TO KITTENS!" This would be a shocking headline with worldwide significance. But, a simple riddle makes the point: What do dogs have that no other animals have? The answer is puppies, of course. They never have kittens or bunnies or monkeys. Dogs reproduce dogs and monkeys reproduce monkeys. Yet, there are those who teach that monkeys are man's ancestors! Just how this could be possible is indeed an enigma. It is myth - a presumption of evolutionists. Monkeys continue to reproduce monkeys, and men continue to reproduce men, each organism after his own kind, irrespective of the postulations of Darwin in his Origin of the Species which advanced the idea of organic evolution. This notion is nothing novel since it long antedates Darwin. For generations the humanists of planet earth have attempted to capture the academic spotlight by proclaiming dogmatically the paradigm of organic evolution as a fact. And, it is probably safe to state that no other sham in all of history has been more instrumental in misleading and blinding the minds of millions, with the result of grossly erroneous conclusions. Its insidious influence has penetrated virtually every sector of our civilization. Any honest scientist must readily admit that the concept is far from a fact. At best it might be regarded as an hypothesis - an educated guess. It cannot be measured by the Scientific Method, does not meet the verifiability and repeatability requirements for a theory, and is devoid of documentary evidence. So, it probably should be classified with comics and fairy tales rather than the annals of science. Considerable confusion continues to cloud the true meaning of organic evolution with reference to what it is and what it is not.

CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Apologetics A theological science which has for its purpose the explanation and defence of the christian religion. http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/01618a.htm
Extractions: Home Encyclopedia Summa Fathers ... A > Apologetics A B C D ... Z A theological science which has for its purpose the explanation and defence of the Christian religion Apologetics means, broadly speaking, a form of apology. The term is derived from the Latin adjective, apologeticus , which, in turn has its origin in the Greek adjective, apologetikos , the substantive being apologia , "apology", "defence". As an equivalent of the plural form, the variant, "Apologetic", is now and then found in recent writings, suggested probably by the corresponding French and German words, which are always in the singular. But the plural form, "Apologetics", is far more common and will doubtless prevail, being in harmony with other words similarly formed, as ethics, statistics, homiletics. In defining apologetics as a form of apology, we understand the latter word in its primary sense, as a verbal defence against a verbal attack, a disproving of a false accusation, or a justification of an action or line of conduct wrongly made the object of censure. Such, for example, is the Apology of Socrates, such the
