Extractions: Warren is one of the UK's exceptional young pianists. His debut at Birmingham Symphony Hall was critically acclaimed by the press and he has received over 25 invitations from HRH The Prince of Wales to play for private functions at Highgrove, Buckingham Palace and Sandringham and for HM The Queen. Recently he gave a Chopin recital at the UK premier of the award-winning film 'The Pianist' at the Odeon, Leicester Square and he has forthcoming solo recitals at the Wigmore Hall and the Purcell Rooms. Warren, who is a member of Mensa, graduated from the University of Warwick with an honours degree in Law. During his studies there he held the university piano scholarship. After graduating he spent a year at Birmingham Conservatoire on postgraduate piano studies where he won the prestigious Symphony Hall competition. Advanced postgraduate studies in performance followed at the Royal College of Music with Professor John Barstow, where his successes included the French Piano Music Prize, a Countess of Munster Award and an English Speaking Union Cultural Scholarship.

The international competition for engineering students offers the opportunity for a team to conceive, design, fabricate and finally compete with small formula-style racing cars, much in the same way as F1 racing. The cars are developed over the academic year and are taken to the annual competition for judging and comparison with a great number of other vehicles from colleges and universities throughout the world.
