In conjunction with these events the "Dance News", a prestigious journal of ballet, brought out three articles, including one by Mme. Extractions: The A side is a deep techy affair, a touch on the progressive side with some old school references which add a nice touch to the mix, The beats and hypnotic percussion glide their way through the track with great effect. Lots of strange sounds and noises keeps the track interesting with a quirky feel to it. The use of sweeps and filters give it nice depth. Over all a decent little chugger that will sit in many a dj box On the flip side is sparkle Moshun, straight away you feel this will do serious damage on the dance floor. Solid drum programming and housey beats give sparkle a more jacking feel to it. Definatly more on the house side of things with a corker of a Derek Carter style bass line which just chugs along nicely. Lots of bleeps and blobs fuse together seamlessly. Erie strings lead you to the short break when the twisted vocal is unleashed, cutting and filtering through with great effect. Its the kind of tune you would expect to hear in Fabric within the early hours.
