Charlie Haden ist zu den berühmtesten JazzBassisten des Planeten zu zählen, bereits im Alter von 8 Jahren entdeckte seine Tochter die Violine als Instrument für sich und begann früh, Kompositionen von Musikern wie Pat Metheny, Steve Reich oder den Cocteau Twins in ihre ganz eigene musikalische Sprache zu übersetzen. Mit den Geschwistern Josh und Rachel musizierte sie schon früh in Bands, That Dog (mit Schwester Rachel) mauserte sich 1994 mit sonniger Punk-Pop Musik zu echten College Radio Favoriten, und ihr erstes Solo-Album Imaginaryland vereinte neben Eigenkompositionen auch so unterschiedliche Cover wie Enya, J.S.Bach und Miranda Sex Garden.
