Fredag erstattes pianokonserten til Brahms med Mozarts klaverkonsert nr 21. Det er denne konserten som helt siden Bo Widerbergs lovpriste film fra 1967 om den unge danske piken Elvira Madigans ulykkelige forelskelse med en svensk offiser, er blitt knyttet til Elvira Madigans navn. Mellomsatsen i konserten ble brukt som gjennomgangstema i filmen To pianister, nederlandske Ronald Brautigam og franske Alain Planés, deler på oppgavene denne uken. Brautigam, som er kjent fra flere tidligere besøk i Stavanger, spiller Brahms' pianokonsert torsdag. Han er en meget ettertraktet pianist som opptrer med mange av de mest kjente orkestrene i Europa, ikke sjelden sammen med dirigenter som Frans Brüggen og Philippe Herreweghe. Han har spilt inn en rekke CDer, blant annet med Concertgebow orkesteret i Amsterdam. Franskmannen Alain Planés, er solist i Mozarts klaverkonsert nr 21 fredag. Han har gjort seg internasjonalt bemerket både som kammermusiker, som kritikerrost plate-artist og ikke minst som fast pianist i Pierre Boulez' "Ensemble Intercontemporain". Han er i dag en av sitt hjemlands mest etterspurte solister.

At the age of 9, she started taking piano lessons with Suzanne van Dijk. Now she's a student of Young Talent Class, Brabant Conservatory. There she studies with Ton Demmers. She reached several prizes on competitions: Petrof Concours (2000), Provincial Competition of the SJMN (2002), Prinses Christina Competition (2001,2004) and Young Talent Competition of the Philipshall Eindhoven. The last mentioned competition leaded to a performance with the Helikon Orchestra under direction of Kian Pin Hiu in the Philipshall. The next year (2003) she had a succesful performance too with the Dutch Promenade Orchestra under direction of Jurre Haanstra, in the same hall. Sharon also gave many concerts in the Netherlands, and was performing on radio and television. She followed masterclasses too, among others with Rian de Waal, Igor Roma and Ronald Brautigam. Last year Sharon went to Czech Republic and since then she plays together with Martine Wijers, violinist and pupil of the Young Talent Class. So Sharon regularly gives concerts, together with pupils/students of the Young Talent Class, but also as a duo and solo pianist.
