MAGIC CASTLE MUSIC
WHO WE ARE: Magic Castle Music is the brainchild of a group of some of Canada's finest young musicians. It was conceived out of a strong love for chamber music and the desire to share this wonderful, entertaining medium with smaller communities in an interactive and informal context. Their aim is to play their favourite music by their favourite composers with the underlying spirit of fun and friendship (in fact, most of this music was written to be played at home among friends). After the concert join us for food, drinks, and conversation. Where are they now? MAGIC CASTLE MUSICIANS: Aisslinn Nosky , a native of Nanaimo, B.C. studied at the Glenn Gould Professional School of the Royal Conservatory of Music with Lorand Fenyves. She now freelances around the Toronto area and has played in the National Ballet Orchestra and The Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Aisslinn was a member of the Metro String Quartet for six years and is now a member of the Via Salzberg Chamber Orchestra and I FURIOSI Baroque Ensemble. More Details Violinist Julia Wedman studied at the University of Western Ontario, Indiana University at Bloomington and the University of Toronto. She is currently a student of Mayumi Seiler.
