16 July 2000 I finally picked up a copy of the July 2000 issue of Keyboard , read through it, and low and behold they made some edits (suprisingly very few) but there's a typo in the first line which was a mistake of the editorsNOT MINE! Although, it was my mistake for leaving out " Propellerheads Software " to begin with. There are supposed to be support RBS files available, however the Keyboard magazine website wont be updated until tomorrow. The band opened with 'Heisenberg's Daughter' from their recently released self-titled debut CD, after which they offered a cover of 'Firth of Fifth', with violinist Karen Bentley handling all of the guitar parts. After a couple more originals, they covered 'Allegro Assai', the third movement of Bach's 'Violin Concerto in A minor', followed by several more numbers from their CD. Keyboardist Don Tillman handled vocals, yet the bulk of the band's material is instrumentally oriented. Later it was learned that this had been the band's very first gig. Enchant came on around 11pm; this would by their first appearance in almost three years, and the crowd was definitely ready for them. The band played a long set, drawing from their albums 'Blueprint Of The World' and 'Wounded', as well as their newly released CD 'Time Lost.' Guitarist Doug Ott and drummer Paul Craddick are simply two of the best musicians the Bay Area has to offer, and both were in fine form. The entire band seemed to be having an especially good time, finally back on their home turf playing to such a receptive group of fans. Anyone who has been somewhat underwhelmed with the band's studio releases really needs to see them live to understand and appreciate what they're all about - maybe it's time for a live album. Needless to say both the band and the crowd were energized.

Tribute Records and Bands Over the years Peter has inspired a number of semi-professional bands to write and record tribute songs in recognition of the impact he made on Seventies culture. Here are just a few of the more memorable ones and the stories behind them. Breadwinner: Morris De Cony, Fay Allright, Mr.Rubbish and Bob McGrath. A British-based pop-combo, whose brand of music has been described as not unlike "Ray Coniff filtered through the eyes of a social outcast like Charles Manson..." . Their fascination with Peter began when percussionist/singer/composer, Bob McGrath, found a copy of his infamous album under a tree in the New Forest. After playing it to friends in a local art group, he sent a questionnaire to Peter via his agent for inclusion in a fanzine, 'One More War'. When the art group got themselves banned from performing in their local town, the musical wing of the company - Breadwinner, decided to make a record. October 5 Friday Evening Concert Rolston Recital Hall 7:30 pm - Adult $15 Student/Senior $10 October 9 Casual Afternoon Bentley Chamber Music Studio 4:30 pm - Free An afternoon concert featuring composer and pianist Heather Schmidt (Canada). The program includes solo works written by Canadian composers, including herself, as well as a piece by Franz Liszt. October 10 Music at Noon Rolston Recital Hall 12 pm - Pay-what-you-can Today's lunch time concert features a Poulenc Sonata for oboe and piano, a Serenade by Howard Hansen for flute and piano, as well as solo piano works by Chopin and Haydn. Also on the program is a jazz based sextet featuring trumpet, guitar, bass and drums. October 11 Special Music Concert Rolston Recital Hall 7:30 pm - Adult $15 Student/Senior $10 Come and meet the new musicians in the fall residency program! A treat for audiences, this concert features international musicians performing solo works for piano by Schubert, Haydn, Prokofiev and Chopin; solo works for flute, saxophone and percussion; and the Popper Requiem for cello.

Combining the virtuoso solo violin playing of Karen Bentley with Stuart Diamond's contemporary electronics, synthesizers and midi sequencing, KONZERTO creates a new and lyric music that simultaneously looks back to the past as well as daringly to the future. Rigorous in its compositional structure, yet endlessly inventive, KONZERTO features both written and improvised passages for the solo violin that soar over a rich and dramatic soundscape to find a spontaneous and original musical language all its own. Symphonic in its 4-movement scope and emotional depth, KONZERTO is a fiery and passionate journey into a new musical world. SUCCUBUS is a term that dates from the Middle Ages and refers to a demon that takes a feminine form to ravage men and women in their sleep,inducing erotic visions and nightmares. Along with its counterpart, the Incubus, these demons were thought to be the cause of the half-sleep state in which one cannot wake and feels the presence of a supernatural being.
