    Funding for Sports Groups
What do you need funding for?
    • With any funding application the first step is to establish your funding need. If there is more than one project you need to find funding for then work out which is the priority
    • Then do a careful costing
    • Before you apply to any funder you should spend some time working on making your case to funders, collect statistics to support your case, put it down on paper to form the basis of your application
    • Make sure you show that your group is well run and ready to use the grant if you get it.

Bath Meles Boat Club You can view the club's website at: http://communities.msn.co.uk/bathmelesboatclub and contact them via meles_bc@hotmail.com High Fives For BOBCAT BOBCAT (Bath Old Boys Competitive Annual Tournament) celebrated its fifth anniversary this year and produced the closest and most exciting finish to date. First held in 1996, BOBCAT is a reunion weekend with a twist. Comprising ten-twelve Bath 1995 alumni from a pool of 16. In a unique reunion format, a sports competition is held over two days with the winner receiving a shield and the loser a large wooden spoon - along with the ignominy of having to organise the following years tournament! Held over the years at Centre Parcs and the University of Bath, activities include clay pigeon shooting, golf, badminton and tennis. For the less athletic, crown green bowls, pool and ten-pin bowling present the chance to make up ground.
