Malik Hairston Is Coming to Eugene!
The Oregon basketball 2004 recruiting class was already one of the best recruiting classes in recent memory, and it got even more impressive after the late addition of the top small forward in the country, Malik Hairston
The signing of Hairston vaulted the Oregon class up to #6 overall in the country in the latest Rivals.com team rankings
I could go on and on about Hairston's stats and accolades, or how wild of a recruitment it was, how Oregon was a longshot in the eyes of the world, and how funny it's been to see other fans and reporters cry and whine about not signing him. However, what's probably more helpful is telling you what I've seen from watching him play.
I've seen Hairston play a few times now, and he really is a high quality player. At about 6-6 and 200 lbs he's pretty skinny, but he's a wiry strong type of guy who plays very tough with no fear. He's got outstanding hops, long arms, and is a great basketball athlete. His greatest and perhaps most underrated attributes are his ability to pass, and his ability to offensive rebound. He hits the offensive glass like he's hungry for the ball.
Hairston is also known as an outstanding defender. That's not always the case for McDonald's All-Americans.

Changes in Administrative-Student Assignments For the second semester there will be a change in the administrative student assignments. In the past it has been that each administrator was responsible for a specific grade level. Now we will divide up by alphabet. This has several benefits, one being it allows an administrator to work as a team with two counselors.
