1.About JSP
JSP (Jackson Structured Programming) is a method for program development, which starts from the data streams to create a program.
As a help to describe the data structures and the program you create diagrams A diagram consists of a number of nodes, which are connected to form a tree. There are three basic types of nodes: Sequence, Iteration and Selection.
With these three you can describe all sequential flows (under the assumption that there is one starting point and one ending point).
Apart from these three basic types there is also operations, which represents an "atomic" instruction, i.e. it can't have children.
The JSP-methodology prescribes a strict schema that should be followed in the program creation.
2.About the JSP-editor
This editor is meant to be a tool when breaking down a problem and to generate a code-"skeleton" in Pascal or C.
The code-skeleton can be saved and the instructions could be "filled-in". This editor does by no means claim to follow the JSP-methodology as it is defined by Jackson, but the program may be useful in order to learn the basic diagram creation.

The sport of skeleton utilizes sleds with two runners. The frame must be constructed of steel. The same sled must be used in all the heats of the competition. If a damaged skeleton cannot be repaired in time for a heat, the use of a spare sled may be permitted by the competition jury. The Parts
The runners must be made of a solid piece of steel, and no plating or coating is allowed. It is not permitted to warm up the runners or use any substance that improves sliding. At the start of the race, the temperature of the runners must be within 4 degrees Celsius of the reference runner, which is exposed to the open air for one hour before the start of the competition. Devices to assist steering or braking are prohibited.
Each competitor's shoe may have a maximum of eight spikes on the base of the shoe. The spikes may not be longer than 87 millimeters (about one-quarter of an inch). All competitors must wear helmets with clinglards.

http://www.american.edu/adonahue/kines1.htm
The skeleton is the framework of the human anatomy, supporting the body and protecting its internal organs. Two hundred and six bones compose the skeleton, about half of which are in the hands and feet. Most of the bones are connected to other bones at flexible joints, which lend the framework a high degree of flexibility. Only one bone, the hyoid, is not directly connected to another bone in such an articulation. It anchors the tongue and is attached to the styloid processes of the skull by ligament. The skeletons of male and female bodies are essentially the same, with the only noteworthy exceptions being that female bones are usually lighter and thinner than male bones, and the female pelvis is shallower and wider than the male's. This latter difference makes childbirth easier. Skeletal System

Hello everyone. First off, there will be no April Skeleton Danse. Some
unforeseen legal matters have come up and until they are settled I'm not
going to risk a potential lawsuit that could cripple the Independent Media
Center. The IMC is an important community resource and I don't want to
hinder it's growth at a time when we are about to achieve so much
(including a brand new all-ages venue). The Skeleton Danse has meant quite a bit to me, and I would like to think
and hope, quite a bit to many others as well. When I started this event I
decided that I would only do it for so long as it stayed fun and vital. I
wasn't going to run it into the ground or keep it going when I no longer
had the energy or enthusiasm to hold it to the high standards I established
for it. I feel we have come to a point where it's time to stop, at least for a little while. Over the past year and a half Skeleton Danse has been fed and helped by several people in the community who gave willingly of their time and resources, these people are the real heroes of the scene. People often joke that I "run" things in the C/U Goth community but really any power I had real or imagined has come from being helped by the people who wanted to see the events I started keep going. People like Jacqueline, Dave, Trae, Andrew C., Andrew R., Cindy, Kristin, Rick, Amy, Aleta, Sarah, Jerry, all our past DJs both local and from out of town and of course everyone who came and paid their three dollars to have a good time and dance.

Lesson I
Gesture The Foundation of Figurative Art
Look at the same gestures, only now as a skeleton.
The skeleton is the foundation of human form and movement. While we can't see much of it in living people, the skeleton plays a critical role in organizing the shapes, bends and twists of the body.
Because of this, rather than just draw what you see of the external structure, I recommend that you first draw what is inside, a stick-like skeleton. Once you get used to this way of thinking, you can start with other approaches, but use the skeleton reference as a helpful guide any time you want to.

Philippines skeleton could be U.S. hostage
Residents display the wanted poster of Aldam Tilao, also known as Abu Sabaya, of the muslim extremist group Abu Sayyaf By Rufi Vigilar in Manila MANILA, Philippines (CNN) Skeletal remains supposedly belonging to an American hostage of Abu Sayyaf guerrillas are to be examined by United States embassy officials. The officials are expected to arrive in the southern Philippines on Monday. The thighbones suspected to be those of American tourist Guillermo Sobero were recovered Friday in a remote village in Basilan province, 900 km (560 miles) south of Manila, and were flown to a military camp in neighboring Zamboanga City over the weekend. The Abu Sayyaf seized Sobero, American missionary couple Martin and Gracia Burnham, and 17 Filipinos from a beach resort in western Palawan province on May 27 before bringing them to Basilan, a guerrilla stronghold. Abu Sayyaf spokesman Abu Sabaya on June 12 claimed to have ordered Sobero beheaded as an "Independence Day gift" to President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's administration.

Skeletal System
The skeletal system ( Figure 1 ) is highly modified to meet the structural and energetic demands of flight. Throughout the skeleton are examples of three types of adaptive modifications: rigidity, reduction and redistribution of mass, and modifications of the limbs for flight. Rigidity is increased by modifications of the structure of bones and by fusions between them. To improve balance during flight, most of the muscle mass controlling the wings and legs are located near the center of the body, producing a compact form. Locate the following structures on the mounted pigeon skeletons and note the modifications described below.
The bones
While maintaining strength, most of the bones are pneumatic, being hollow and filled with air spaces connected to the respiratory system. Internal struts add strength to some bones such as the humerus.
Skull
The bones of the skull ( Figure 2 ) are generally fused providing protection to the brain while being of light weight. A light, toothless beak replaces the bony, heavy toothed jaw of reptiles. Beaks, of course, can be highly modified for different types of food and feeding behavior. One important vestige of birds' ancestral relationship to reptiles is the jaw joint articulation between the quadrate and articular bones (compare this to the squamosal-dentary joint in mammals). Note the large orbits, as sight is an important sensory mechanism for birds. Within the orbit is the sclerotic ring (this may be absent in your specimen), which helps to support the eyeball. In the posterior part of the skull is a single occipital condyle, which articulates with the first cervical vertebrae. Reptiles likewise have a single occipital condyle, while mammals have four.

Unearthing the Roots of the Family Tree
with Dr. Zhe-Xi Luo
An exceptionally well-preserved 125-million-year-old fossil mammal, described recently by the Carnegie Museum of Natural History's Zhe-Xi Luo and his collaborators, Professor Ji Qiang of the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, offers new insight on the origin and evolution of mammals. Among the most rare and challenging discoveries for any paleontologist are the early mammals that arose in the shadows of the great beasts of the Mesozoic. Few fossil mammals have survived the ravages of geologic history, and those that have are supremely difficult to find and collect. Most of what we know of the earliest mammals comes from a few fragmentary teeth and jaws, which, because of their durable mineral composition, tend to remain intact when other bones have crumbled. Despite these challenges, Dr.Zhe-Xi Luo, Associate Curator of Paleontology at Carnegie Museum of Natural History, is forging ahead with some of the most important research in the field. In the past two years, Dr. Luo has been involved in two of the most significant discoveries in mammalian evolution, and his recent research on Jeholodens jenkinsi , published in the March 25, 1999, issue of Nature is helping to piece together a dark era in evolutionary history, shedding new light on the origin and interrelationships of early mammals.

Collagen in the pterobranch coenecium and the problem of graptolite affinities
William G. Armstrong, P. Noel Dilly, and Adam Urbanek Amino-acid analysis of the extracellular skeleton (coenecium) of two pterobranchs (Hemichordata) Rhabdopleura normani and Cephalodiscus (C.) hodgsoni shows that both contain considerable quantaties of collagenous material with relatively high hydroxyproline and low hydroxylysine levels. The appearance of the fibrous material in the skeleton of pterobranchs, although collagenous, differs from standard EM characteristics of collagen. The fibrous material in the skeleton of Rhabdopleura and Cephalodiscus, although compositionally collagenous in nature, lacks the characteristic ultrastructural features of most collagen fibrils, especially thicker ones.
The identification of the collagenous nature of the pterobranch skeleton with the presumed presence of collagen-like material in the periderm of fossil graptolites, taken in conjuction with other data, supports the hypothesis that both groups may be closely related phylogenetically. Abstract
Skeleton Climbing is an algorithm that builds triangulated isosurfaces in 3D grid data, more economically than Marching Cubes, and without the time penalty of current mesh decimation algorithms. Building the surface from its intersections with grid edges (1-skeleton), then faces (2-skeleton), then cubes (3-skeleton), treats the data in a uniform way; this allows a 25% reduction in the number of triangles produced, while still creating a true separating surface at similar speed.

Want to meet the Dinosaur Expedition Field Crew? Dinosaur Expedition 2000 will be focussed on the collection of a prosauropod dinosaur specimen discovered at the site in 1998. This specimen is the third dinosaur specimen to be collected from a small bone bed the Museum researchers have been studying for several years. From this expedition, researchers hope to recover the entire dinosaur skeleton which is currently in danger due to the fast erosion at the site. The tremendously high tides in the Parrsboro area, rising and falling almost 10 meters with each tide, cause the cliff at the research site to erode at an estimated 1 meter per year. This specimen will be another important piece of the story this site has recently revealed. What caused these three dinosaur skeletons to be buried here 200 million years ago? Questions like this will take years to answer, but it all starts with work like
