The Eagles (17-3) played errorless ball in the first game, and did so with apparent confidence. "We work on a lot of different scenarios in practice," O'Brien said. "We'll have people at different bases set up and we'll pretend there is one out, two outs, and so on, and work on it." With Jacobs leading in the bottom of the third inning, 3-0, Guilford put runners on first and second.
