Deutscher Kyudo Bund Kyudo: was ist das? Hauptseite KYUDO - Japanisches BogenschieŸen Der „Weg des Bogens“ (Kyu = Bogen, Do = Weg) hat sich aus den Kriegsk¼nsten des japanischen Adels entwickelt. Im 16. Jahrhundert verdr¤ngte die Einf¼hrung der Feuerwaffen allm¤hlich den Bogen als Kriegswaffe in Japan, jedoch behielt er als ein Instrument f¼r Jagd und Sport und vor allem als Mittel zur pers¶nlichen Weiterentwicklung seine Bedeutung. In verschiedenen Lehrrichtungen sind Technik und Geistesschulung bis heute erhalten. Im September 1969 wurde Kyudo bei einem Einf¼hrungsseminar in Hamburg vorgestellt und seit dieser Zeit vor allem unter der Leitung von Prof. G. Inagaki weitervermittelt. In den folgenden Jahren entstanden in vielen St¤dten Deutschlands Kyudogruppen mit derzeit ¼ber 850 Mitgliedern, die sich im Deutschen Kyudo Bund e.V. organisiert haben. Der Deutsche Kyudo Bund e.V. ist Mitglied im Europ¤ischen Dachverband (EKF) und mit der Zen Nihon Kyudo Renmei (Japanischer Kyudoverband) assoziiert. Homepage Information FITA-Bogenschießen Über Jahrtausende hinweg wurden Pfeil und Bogen erst als Jagd- und dann auch als Kriegswaffe eingesetzt. Diese Waffe wurde von vielen Nationen so wichtig genommen, dass Söhne per Gesetz gezwungen wurden das Bogenschießen zu erlernen. Es wurden Weisungen erteilt, die Besitz von Pfeil und Bogen anordneten. Der Bogen war lange Zeit die einzige Waffe, mit der man größere Distanzen überwinden konnte. Die größte überlieferte Entfernung schoss 1798 Sultan Selim. Sein Pfeil ging erst nach 845,45 Metern wieder zu Boden. Auch nach der Erfindung des Schwarzpulvers wurden Pfeil und Bogen noch als Jagd- und Kriegswaffe eingesetzt. Selbst heute gibt es in entlegenen Gebieten unserer Erde noch Gruppen, die den Umgang mit dem Bogen nie aufgegeben hatten. Hierzulande ist aus dem Bogen ein modernes Sportgerät geworden, welches immer mehr Freunde bei Jung und Alt gewinnt. Noch ein paar Worte zum Begriff FITA: Die FITA (Federation Internationale de Tir a l'Arc) ist der Internationale Bogenschützenverband, der die weltweit gültigen Wettkampfregeln fürs Bogenschießen aufstellt.
