RoofTime Grass Volleyball Rules
The rules that we use at RoofTime are pretty standard for local area grass volleyball. We follow official USA Volleyball outdoor rules , with the following minor exceptions:
  • When attempting a hand set, the ball must be played cleanly with a single contact, without the ball coming to a rest, as the USAV rules stipulate. But, since we do not have officials refereeing the games and hand sets are such a judgement call, the only way to try to have consistent calls for all players is to go by rotation of the ball. So, in general, if a ball is hand set and rotates more than 2 times, it is to be considered a fault.

If you have comments or questions about the RoofTime website, contact us at webmaster@RoofTime.net
