The Moorpark club is a volunteer-based organization and is one of several clubs that are chartered under Field Hockey Federation, Inc., a California non-profit 501©3 organization. We are located in Moorpark, CA, and are just minutes west of the San Fernando Valley. Our practices and games are played at Moorpark College, on a FIH-compliant "Stadia Turf" field.
Membership is open to youth and adults of all skill levels. The age/skill divisions for the Club are Under-9, Under-12, Under-16, Adult Recreational, Adult Social, and Adult Competitive.
Call to check on FHF League Game cancellations due to weather or for general FHF information.

, a native of nearly Mountaintop, Pennsylvania, and a former standout at Crestwood High School and Susquehanna University, begins her first season as head coach of The University of Scranton field hockey program. She takes over for Brenda Brewer, who led the Royals to 56-56 overall record, including an Eastern College Athletic Conference title (1998), a Middle Atlantic Conference tournament appearance (1999), and two Freedom Conference tournament berths (2001, 2002) from 1998-2003.

Connecticut College Camels Finish With Fourth Highest GPA in Nation
NEW LONDON, Conn. The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) has recognized the Connecticut College Field Hockey program as a recipient of the 2003 NFHCA National Academic Team Award. The Camels finished in a tie for the fourth highest team Grade Point Average (3.39) of all Division III Programs in the nation. In addition to the prestigious team honor, 11 Camel student-athletes were named to the Division III National Academic Squad.

Wittenberg, winner of the 2003 NCAC regular season and tournament titles, was defeated, 6-0, by Cortland State in the second round of the NCAA Division III Field Hockey tournament last week in Cortland, New York.
Cortland, out of the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) and the sixth-ranked team in Division III entering the tournament, advanced past the national quarterfinals the next day with a 6-4 defeat of Williams. The Red Dragons, who received an at-large bid to the tournament, advance to the national semifinals/finals on Nov. 21-22 at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA. Wittenberg ends the season with a record of 13-7.
Wittenberg earned a share of its sixth NCAC championship during the regular season, and won its second conference tournament title to earn the NCAA bid. The Tigers have made five previous NCAA appearances (1994, '95, '97, '98, 2002).
The North Coast has had at least one team in the NCAA field in each of its 20 seasons of competition.

Topping the list is senior Beth Tatman (Louisville, Ky./Male H.S.), a four-year recipient of the honor. Also earning selection are junior Jen Strodel (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North), sophomore Tracy Bannister (Woodbridge, Va./Woodbridge) and freshman Lacey Morgan (Lancaster, Ohio/Lancaster).
