var sc_project=212103; var sc_invisible=1; Welcome to my Richmond Tigers trading card site!
I've been collecting Richmond cards for about 12 months, and trading online with the help of eBay.com.au. I only collect Football cards, with a heavy emphasis on cards featuring the Richmond Tigers. I'm always looking to add cards and memorabilia to my already huge, and always growing, Richmond Collection.
I am trying to collect all Richmond cards, stickers, etc. There is over 1700 Richmond cards known. So far I have got just over 1,150 of them. So, please take a look and let me know if you can help me out.
I am willing to buy or trade almost anything for, ANY Richmond cards that I don't have yet, as long as it's fair. I always respond to all offers, even if it's one I'm not interested in. For a list of the cards I have to trade click on link above.
I am an honest and reputable trader. I have over 300 eBay transactions with zero Negative feedback.

1. Introduction to Australian Rules Football
What is Australian Rules Football?
Australian Rules Football (also "Aussie Rules" or "footy") is one of the many existing forms of football, with roots traceable from early forms of Rugby and Gaelic football, but it is uniquely Australian. Its rules were first codified in 1858, and probably predate all other modern forms of football, such as American, Canadian, Rugby Union and League, Association (Soccer) and Gaelic football. Today it is a multi-million dollar business, with a National Competition and numerous smaller leagues. Interest in the game is generally at an all time high within and outside Australia, yet despite this, some parts of Australia are still lukewarm in support of their team in the AFL, and the game has yet to take a firm hold overseas.

Australian Rules Football
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Australian rules football (also known as Aussie Rules ) is a game played between two teams of 18 players, generally played on cricket ovals during the winter months. Developed in Melbourne , this football code has become the predominant winter sport in many parts of Australia. Football competitions run approximately from March to August, with finals being held in September. Pre-season competitions usually begin in late February. Unlike most soccer competitions, there are no separate "league" and "cup" trophies. The teams that occupy the highest positions (usually four in most amateur leagues, but up to eight in the AFL) play off in a "semi-knockout" finals series (i.e. under most systems, the very highest-finishing teams usually get a second chance if they lose their first final), with the two successful teams meeting in the Grand Final. The sport is the most popular winter sport in Victoria Tasmania South Australia , and Western Australia . In Queensland and New South Wales the main winter sports are rugby league and rugby union , although with the establishment of successful Australian Football League teams in Sydney and Brisbane , and hence the growth of amateur football in those areas, this is changing to some degree.

Australian rules football (also known as football, "footy" or "Aussie Rules" in areas where it is the predominant winter sport) is a game played between two teams of 18 players, generally played on cricket ovals during the winter months. Football competitions run approximately from March to August, with finals being held in September. Pre-season competitions sometimes begin as early as late February. The summer months mostly belong to cricket , usually played on the same grounds. In the past, many elite-level footballers played representative cricket, but the increasingly professional nature of the game made this impossible by the 1980s. Many amateur players still play both. Unlike most soccer competitions, there are no separate "league" and "cup" trophies. The teams that occupy the highest positions (usually four in most amateur leagues, but up to eight in the AFL) play off in the "semi-knockout" (under most systems, the very highest-finishing teams usually get a second chance if they lose their first final) finals series, with the two successful teams meeting in the Grand Final. The sport is the predominant winter sport in Victoria Tasmania South Australia , and Western Australia Queensland and New South Wales main winter sports are rugby league and rugby union , though with the establishment of AFL teams in Sydney and Brisbane, those teams' success and quality and hence the growth of amateur football in those states, this is changing to some degree.
