Women Human Rights violation Great Personalities Humor By Mohammad Asghar PART - While the educational process and training was continuing, Waraqa recognized the fact that he alone could not prepare Muhammad fully for the momentous mission he was soon to embark upon and that if he wanted to see his surrogate succeed, he then must seek the help of one whose erudition on the subjects he was imparting to his student was superior to his own.
Waraqa knew a monk by the name of Adas; some say his name was Suhaib ibn Sinan, who was well versed in the desired subjects, but spoke in Hebrew. Waraqa, himself knowing Hebrew well, enlisted his help, and both of them began teaching Muhammad all that they knew about the Jewish and Christian religions.
Perhaps, the Quran eluded to this same monk Adas or Suhaib (16:103; also see N. J. Dawood's The Koran, p. 195)), while refuting the pagans, who accused Muhammad of being taught all that he spoke of, including the details of heaven and hell, by a human being and not, as he claimed, by God.
FIRST REVELATION
Muhammad continued the process of his learning for a long time; some say, without substantiating their claim, for fifteen years. Then suddenly one night in the month of Ramadhan, in the year 610 A. D., when he was forty years of age, he declared that he received revelations from God, and that the deity appointed him his last Prophet and Messenger on earth.

.................. There was once a civilization that was the greatest in the world.
It was able to create a continental super-state that stretched from ocean to ocean, and from northern climes to tropics and deserts. Within its dominion lived hundreds of millions of people, of different creeds and ethnic origins.
One of its languages became the universal language of much of the world, the bridge between the peoples of a hundred lands. Its armies were made up of people of many nationalities, and its military protection allowed a degree of peace and prosperity that had never been known. The reach of this civilization’s commerce extended from Latin America to China, and everywhere in between.

Companions of the Prophet part 5
Said Ibn Zayd
Zayd the son of Amr stood away from the Quraysh crowd as they celebrated one of their festivals. Men were dressed in rich turbans of brocade and expensive Yemeni burdabs. Women and children were also exquisitely turned out in their fine clothes and glitte ring jewelry. Zayd watched as sacrificial animals, gaily caparisoned were led out to slaughter before the Quraysh idols. It was difficult for him to remain silent. Leaning against a wall of the Kabah, he shouted: "O people of Quraysh! It is God Who has created the sheep. He it is Who has sent down rain from the skies of which they drink and He has caused fodder to grow from the earth with which they are fed. Then even so you slaughter them in names other than His. Indeed, I see that you are an ignorant folk." Zayd's uncle al-Khattab, the father of Umar ibn al-Khattab, seethed with anger. He strode up to Zayd, slapped him on the race and shouted: "Damn you! We still hear from you such stupidity. We have borne it until our patience is exhausted." Al-Khattab then incited a number of violent people to harass and persecute Zayd and make life extremely uncomfortable for him. These incidents which took place before Muhammad's call to Prophethood gave a foretaste of the bitter conflict that was to take place between the upholders of truth and the stubborn adherents of idolatrous practices. Zayd was one of the few men, known as hanifs, who saw these idolatrous practices for what they were. Not only did he refuse to take part in them himself but he refuse d to eat anything that was sacrificed to idols. He proclaimed that he worshipped the God of Ibrahim and, as the above incident showed, was not afraid to challenge his people in public.

Ditos Do Profeta Muhammad

NOTE
The salutation to the Holy Prophet in the words `upon whom be peace and blessings of Allah' after his name, and the invocation `may Allah be pleased with him' after the names of his companions are expressly set out in the manuscript but are omitted in print in order to accomodate the text to the modern reader. They should, nevertheless, be understood as repeated in each case. In this translation the form ibn has been used in both initial and medial positions in the names of persons, in order to conform with current usage, although bin occurs medially in the originally text.

http://www.islamanswers.net/moreAbout/theWorld.htm
Could you summarize what kind of a "world" did The Prophet Muhammad build?
This is the tribute of Lamartine, a French historian, to the person of the holy Prophet of Islam: The Prophet Muhammad, upon him be peace and blessings, made desert men – crude, ignorant, savage and obstinate – into an army of skilled fighters, a community of sincere devotees of a sublime cause, into a society of gentleness and compassion, and an assembly of sainthood, and into a host of intellectuals and scholars. In no community of the world and in the followers of no great man of history, including the Prophets, do we see fervor and ardor combined with gentleness, kindness, sincerity and compassion, as history has shown among the sincere followers of the Prophet Muhammad in every century. The school of the Prophet Muhammad – Islam – has been a ‘garden’ rich in every kind of ‘flower’; through it, like water cascading, God has brought forth grain and plants, and gardens luxuriant. Abu Bakr, ‘Umar, ‘Uthman and ‘Ali, and the others in succeeding centuries, like ‘Umar ibn ‘Abd al-‘Aziz, Mahdi al-Ab-basi, Harun al-Rashid, Alp Arslan, Mehmed the Conqueror, Salim and Sulayman were not only statesmen of the highest caliber and invincible commanders, but they were also men of profound spirituality, deep knowledge, eloquence and literature.

ASM’ AHL BADR
MUSLIM WARRIORS OF THE BATTLE OF BADR
We should remind ourselves that Asm⒠Ahl Badr (the names of the Muslim warriors of the Battle of Badr) are jalâli (majestic). They need the jamâl (beauty) of salawât (invocation of blessings) to cool them. Allâhumma salli ‘alâ Sayyidinâ Muhammad-in wa ‘alâ âli Sayyidinâ Muhammad-in wa as-hâbihi wa bârik wa sallim.
O Allâh! Bestow blessings, benedictions and peace on our master Sayyidinâ Muhammad and on his progeny and companions.
Once we have recited the salawât, we can come to the Asm⒠Ahl Badr.
As you read the names of the Muslim warriors of the Battle of Badr, you are earnestly requested to make a sincere wish that may Allâh, the Glorified and the Exalted, open your heart to Realities of Islâm.
Please recite “Sayyidin┠before each name and “Rady Allâhu ‘Anhu” (Allâh is pleased with him) after each name.
