Login here THE 2003 EAST BOYS TEAM ANDREW LAVENDER Brookhaven High School - Columbus, OH Guard - 5'7 - 150 Pounds University of Oklahoma At 5â7, Andrew might technically be the smallest man on the court but his strong play and will to win make up for that. Lavender is a solid point guard as he involves his teammates first and then takes matters into his own hands if needed. He is extremely quick and has arguably the best handle in this yearâs senior class. Andrew has led his Brookhaven team to three consecutive District Titles, two Regional and City Championships and a state title in 2002. He averaged 18 points, 7 assists and 3 steals a game in the 2002 USA Basketball Festival. He is a two time All-District and three time All-City selection. Andrew will head to Oklahoma to play for the Sooners next season. CHRIS PAUL West Forsyth High School - Clemmons, NC Guard - 6'1 - 170 Pounds Wake Forest University Paul averaged 26 points and 8.7 assists per game last year as a junior at West Forsyth . He is ranked as one of the top point guard prospects in the class of 2003. Paul set the school record for most points in a game with 61 earlier this season. He also rattled off a record 50 points in the Frank Spencer Tournament earning him MVP honors. The already talented Demon Deacons of Wake Forest are awaiting the arrival of their gifted point guard.
