LaRAS - Seed Research and Testing Laboratory Department of Agronomy, University of Bologna, Italy GENERAL INFORMATIONS Foundation and history The Laboratory was estabilished in 1907 by Francesco Todaro, Professor of Agriculture at the Royal High Agricultural Scool, University of Bologna. Annexed to the chair of Agriculture, then Institute of General Agronomy and Field Crops and now Department of Agronomy, it increased in reputation year by year due to his widely recognised high qualit year by year due to his widely recognised high quality activity.
