The first digisubs of it have finally emerged and I've managed to watch one episode so far. The first episode is very dark and doesn't give much away. It will be interesting to see how the story proceeds. In the meantime, I've set up this webpage in order to collect and organize information about the show. In summary, big names involved in the production of serial experiments lain are heavily involved in Texhnolyze. Chiaki Konaka, Yoshitoshi ABe, and Yasuyuki Ueda are all working together again. Those three have certainly been active in anime since their making of lain , but they haven't all worked together since then. Personally, as a lain fan (here's a link to thought experiments lain , my lain site), I find it quite exciting, and I look forward to seeing what they came up with.

July 29, 2002 Abstract An electrode structure consisting of two phases of Pt and WO x for use in thin-film fuel cells was designed and fabricated using a cosputtering system with a Pt metal and a tungsten oxide target. The coexistence of a polycrystalline Pt nanosized phase and an amorphous tungsten oxide phase in the electrode layer was confirmed by transmission electron microscopic images and x-ray diffraction data.
