Throughout history myths and superstitions have so crept under the banner of religion that the true nature of God was masked and distorted, so much that to believe in any religion came to be considered childish stupidity by modern literary giants.
In the face of such opposition we come across The Koran (QUR'AN) It is a small, though unique book, in many aspects.
No other book claims to be the very words of God as spoken in the first person. No other book claims to be without error or contradiction, originating from the one who has "knowledge of everything". No other book provides falsification to prove it wrong, as demanded by the scientific community and finally no other book challenges people of learning to a final debate of authenticity based on knowledge and verification
Let us look at the Koran (Qur'an) and see whether these claims deserve attention and whether God is a myth like superstitious religion or a reality on which all civilization depends.

This program provides a strong, diverse background encompassing liberal arts, basic sciences, and forest products science and technology. Students learn about the chemical, physical and social aspects of wood as a raw material and renewable resource. At the undergraduate level, we offer four B.S. program degrees - paper science and engineering , production management, forest products marketing , and residential building science and technology. At the graduate level, we tailor programs for graduate students to suit their needs and the research emphases of the professors they study with. We also have a number of assistantships that individual faculty members manage. People currently working in the forest products industry are eligible for our Fundamentals of Wood and Wood Products by Distance Education course. Online and CD-ROM-based courses currently include

Homeschool Sunday School lessons in Christian science for children, parents, newcomers, and independent thinkers, with emphasis on Ten Commandments, Beatitudes, and Lord's Prayer.
http://www.csfirstlessons.com
Home Table of Contents What's New? Publications Christian Science Basics Introduction Welcome to my web site dedicated to the "first lessons" for Sunday School pupils of Christian Science: the Ten Commandments , the Beatitudes and the Lord's Prayer . I'm glad you have found your way here. As you will see, there is a lot of other introductory material on Christian Science for those interested in learning more about this system of spiritual healing, but my main focus is on the Ten Commandments and Beatitudes.
Mary Baker Eddy
the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science , once wrote: "If I ever wear out from serving students, it shall be in the effort to help them to obey the Ten Commandments and imbibe the spirit of Christ's Beatitudes." Miscellaneous Writings
It is to honor those efforts, in some small way, that I have created this web site. My wish is that it will promote greater interest in these "first lessons" by Christian Science students of all ages, and provide fresh insight or helpful hints for those teaching children these foundational lessons.

Activity Group on Imaging Science
The SIAM Activity Group on Imaging Science brings together SIAM members and other scientists and engineers with an interest in the mathematical and computational aspects of imaging. The reconstruction, enhancement, segmentation, analysis, registration, compression, representation, and tracking of two and three dimensional images are vital to many areas of science, medicine, and engineering. As a result, increasingly sophisticated mathematical, statistical, and computational methods are being employed in these research areas, which may be referred to as "Imaging Science." These techniques include transform and orthogonal series methods, nonlinear optimization, numerical linear algebra, integral equations, partial differential equations, Bayesian and other statistical inverse estimation methods, operator theory, differential geometry, information theory, interpolation and approximation, inverse problems, computer graphics and vision, stochastic processes, and others. Description
The ICES Journal of Marine Science publishes articles, short communications, and critical reviews that contribute to our scientific understanding of marine systems and the impact of human activities. The Journal serves as a foundation for scientific advice across the broad spectrum of management and conservation issues related to the marine environment. Oceanography, marine habitats, living resources, and related management topics constitute the key elements of papers eligible for publication. Integrated studies that bridge gaps between traditional disciplines are particularly welcome. The scope of the Journal has been broadened to include economic, social, and public administration studies to the extent that they are directly related to management of the seas and are of general interest to marine scientists. Proceedings of ICES-sponsored symposia constitute an integral part of the
