The Prairie View High Energy Physics group is currently involved in research on CP Violation in the B system with the BaBar experiment at SLAC Follow this link (or click the icon on the left) to go to a page detailing some of the Prairie View research work on BaBar. Prairie View is also finishing up research in heavy quark hadroproduction physics on Experiment E771 at Fermilab . Our present experiments are:
  • KTeV - CP violation in kaon decays.
  • BaBar - CP violation in B decays.
In addition we are involved on the development of the detector associated with a high energy Linear Collider. You can take a look at American Linear Collider Website We have a large group of undergraduates looking into the possibility of studying supersymmetry at the NLC.You can look at an overview of our work ; you can also read a tutorial describing supersymmetry at the NLC.
Our group worked recently on the following experiments:
