HDGC research focuses on the interactions between human and natural systems, with an emphasis on the social and behavioral processes that shape and influence those interactions. Proposals for general research on HDGC must be clearly related to social, psychological, economic, demographic, anthropological, geographic, governmental, legal, institutional, and/or ethical aspects of global change including the development of statistical methodology and mathematics models.
