Fosters research and training in contemporary molecular biology by bringing together scientists from biology, chemistry and physics into a common intellectural and physical space.
    http://www.molbio.uoregon.edu/
The Institute of Molecular Biology fosters research and training in contemporary molecular biology by bringing together scientists from Biology, Chemistry, and Physics into a common intellectual and physical space. Because a broad range of expertise is focused on related problems, researchers with specialties ranging from genetics to biophysics directly benefit from each other's knowledge and abilities. Research is directed toward understanding basic cellular, genetic, and developmental mechanisms in both eukaryotes and prokaryotes. Primary research interests of institute members are summarized on the Faculty and Research page. Institute research laboratories are located in a contiguous space, which facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration. Institute of Molecular Biology
