41. Princeton University Art & Archaeology
Offers undergraduate and graduate programs which can include architecture. History of the department and details of programs and courses.
http://www.princeton.edu/~artarch/
Art History is a field with an extraordinary range in time, space, media, and intellectual concerns. The department seeks to introduce its students both to the breadth of the field and to a wide variety of research strategies. Majors who wish to go on to graduate work in art history, and then to academic or museum careers should find themselves well-prepared. But training future historians and curators is only part of the departmentÂ’s mission; like other departments in the humanities, it aims to teach responsible use of evidence and critical habits of thought useful in any career. Recent graduates have gone into medicine, law, business, and many other fields.

Journal Information for World Archaeology
Publisher Moving Wall World Archaeology is the only journal established specifically to deal with archaeology on a world-wide multiperiod basis and thirty years after it was founded it remains the leader in its field. Each issue is dedicated to one theme of current interest and the papers adopt a broad comparative approach, looking at important issues on a global scale. The members of the editorial board and the advisory board represent a wide range of interests and expertise and this ensures that the papers published in World Archaeology cover a wide variety of subject areas. Recent issues illustrate the variety of material published in World Archaeology , they have included volumes dedicated to new developments in archaeological science, the application of social theory to archaeology, the archaeology of art and major syntheses of such important topics as trade and exchange. Future issues will range just as widely. ISSN

43. Landscape Archaeology MA
MA program in landscape archaeology. The course offers training in the practical and theoretical approaches to landscape archaeology, including prehistoric and historical landscapes, surveying, earthwork surveys, GIS and geophysics.
http://www.bris.ac.uk/Depts/Archaeology/graduate/landscape.html
MA in Landscape Archaeology One of several MA programmes offered by Bristol, the MA in Landscape Archaeology may be taken as a full-time study (one year) or part-time (two years). In-service students and mature students are particularly welcome. Landscape archaeology is at the cutting-edge of archaeological research and forms one of the main research themes within the Department of Archaeology at Bristol. The degree has been running for eight years, and has a proven track record in providing extensive training for a career in archaeology and the historic landscape, as well as providing a suitable background for further research. Many past students have obtained archaeological posts within Government bodies and universities or continued with PhD research. Bristol is located at the gateway to some of the most diverse and interesting landscapes in Britain. Within easy reach of the Department are the uplands of Wales and south-western Britain; the chalk downland of Wessex and the wetland landscapes of the Severn Estuary and Somerset Levels. Two national bodies closely involved with archaeology and the landscape; The Countryside Commission and the Survey Units of English Heritage, have their headquarters close to Bristol. The Department also has close links with The National Trust at Cirencester and the Exmoor National Park Authority. The Department has recently been the recipient of a major Leverhulme Research Grant to investigate the environs of South Cadbury hillfort . Students on the MA course will be encouraged to participate in this project and to assist in the development of new field methodologies.
