Home About Us Mission Statement Ecclesbourne ... Make a Donation Construction begins on Wagga Cancer Lodge Work is well underway on the $2.7m Cancer Lodge project in Wagga Wagga. The 20 unit facility will be used by cancer patients and their carers receiving treatment in the city. The Cancer Patients Assistance Society of NSW (CPAS) helps cancer patients, predominately from rural NSW, by providing comfort, financial assistance and emotional support for patients and their families whilst they are undergoing treatment in Sydney. The facilities are Jean Colvin Hospital a 36 bed private hospital fully accredited by the Australian Council of Healthcare Standards and a 28 bed Hostel close to the hospital called Ecclesbourne. A new 20 unit facility is currently being constructed in Wagga Wagga called Lilier Lodge to be used by cancer patients and their carers receiving treatment in the city. There are 32 branches of the Society throughout rural NSW which fun raise to support cancer patients in their local community and also support the hospital and hostel financially.

Chant 4 FAZA is a protective animal welfare society created in 1995 by a group of volunteers to assist the local municipality in more humane care of street dogs and cats pitifully sheltered in an ancient prison. Gradually, through local and international donors and grant agencies, sterilization and homing programs were initiated. In 1998, a Charity Shop and Information Center was established in central Aegina Harbor (Aiantos 8 opposite the Belle Epoque Bar). In 2000 plans by local government to remodel the prison for a civic center pressed the primitive dog shelter to be moved. A local donor provided FAZA a legacy of land for a new shelter and construction began. Before it's completion in 2001, the animals were forcibly removed to the unfinished site of the new Eleni Shelter high in the hills overlooking the sea, still lacking electricity or running water. Water and it's transport by truck, garbage removal and some funds for medications are provided by the local government. The RSPCA, International, has generously provided for our Jeep and for the building permit to complete the shelter. The Greek Animal Welfare Fund, London assists in yearly grants for shelter vaccines and spaying efforts. Semi-annual funds from SBA (Foundation for Foreign Animal Shelters Holland) help us meet our extraordinary shelter construction problems.
