Due acknowledgement should be given. His reprehensible attributes and despicable traits left no need for anyone to undertake refutation of his claims, for the traits in which he had become established from early in his life themselves gave lie to him in all that he claimed, and revealed his true colors. He can scarcely be likened to a venerable, respectable human being, let alone the Messiah or the like of him! Thus, none of the scholars heeded him at the start of his affair, nor did they pay attention to his errors and fallacies. [That was] until his ember became a live coal, and his puddle became a flood, so that his tribulation spread through the land and swelled! It awakened tribulations like pieces of the darkest night were agitated.

The Third Statement of Maulana Syed Abul A'la Maududi in the Court of Enquiry, Pakistan Regarding the Qadiani (Ahmadiyya) Cult
[From the Book: The Qadiani Problem by Syed Abu A'la Maududi] (Various stages through which the Movement launched by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad passed; various claims put forth by Mirza during these stages; and the impact of these claims on the Qadiani beliefs and conducts). In the year 1880, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad appeared among the Muslims as a preacher and champion of Islam. Before we describe various beliefs and ideas propounded by the Mirza during the various periods of his life from 1880 to the year of his death (26 May, 1908), it is necessary to arrange these periods in chronological order, so that the beliefs and ideas relating to one period may be easily distinguished from those of the other period. Chronological Order
  • From 1880 to 1888 - In this period, the Mirza was a preacher of Islam and a champion of the Faith who defended the religion of Islam from the attacks of non-Muslims. Mirza insisted that his beliefs in regard to all matters were the same as the beliefs held by the general body of the Muslims. Although the Muslims were startled even then by various claims latent in his writings, yet the Mirza always managed to pacify the Muslim sentiment by offering various interpretations for his claims.
In December, 1888 A.D., he published an advertisement inviting people to render allegiance to him. In 1889 A.D., he started receiving oaths of allegiance. At that time, he claimed himself to be only a 'Mujaddid-i-Waqt' (Renovator of the Age) and one 'Appointed by God'. He set up a comparison between himself and Masih (peace be upon him) on the ground that as Masih lived in poverty and humility, so was the Mirza carrying out his task in a state of destitution. In those days, the Muslims thought of the Mirza in favorable terms. However, they felt uneasy about the Mirza's claim that he was superior to all the venerable saints of Islam.

    Independent Religion and Parallel Community
One of the illusions about Qadianism is that its emergence merely signifies the addition of one more sect the large number of already existing sects and schools in Islam, and that the followers of Qadianism are, at the most, a new sect. Thus, the popular impression is that Qadianism does not represent a unique phenomenon in the history of Muslims sects and juristice schools.
A careful study of Qadianism is bound to shutter this illusion and to convince very unbiased student that Qadianism is a religion by itself, and the Qadianism a separate religion community (ummah), parallel to Islam and the Ummah of Islam. The following statement of the Mirza, which has been cited by the former head of Qadiani movement, Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmood appears to contain no exaggeration. He said:
The words, which came out from the lips of the Promised Messiah, keep on reverberating in my ears. He said that it was wrong that our disagreement with others lay merely on the questions of the death of the Messiah or certain other similar issues. He mentioned in detail that we differed from them in respect of the Essence of Allah, in respect of the Holy Prophet (upon him be the peace and benediction of God), in respect of the Quran, of prayers, of fasting of pilgrimage, and, in short, in respect of each and every part (of religion). Q adianism/Mirzaiyyat/Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam has become quite a controversial issue. Muslims everywhere have strated campaigning against them. Pretending to be the Champions of islam and the only true Muslims, they are leading ignorant Muslims out of its fold. Is it a Movement of Reform within Islam as it claims to be? OR is it a Pious Fraud in the name of Islam? In 1988 Mirza Tahir Ahmad Qadiani, Head of the Ahmadiyya Movement and Grandson of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, issued a challenge of Mubahila, in which he labeled the entire Muslim Ummah as Disbelievers and Liars. Syed Abdul Hafeez took up the challenge and set up Anti Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam. it is an awareness campaign to educate Muslims and non-Muslims about the true nature of this creed and bring to the light the true personality of its founder and his heretical beliefs, as depicted in his writings. My Departure from Qadianism

    INTRODUCTION
My name is Rinol, I am an ethnic Albanian from Macedonia. Currently I am a student in Belgium. I, like many others, have fallen in the dejjalian trap of Qadianism. Qadianism is known to a very small number of people; especially those Muslims who live in Eastern Europe are much more vulnerable to the Qadiany creed. It is known to everyone under what hegemonic conditions the Muslims have lived in the communist law of non-religious tolerance. By this I am trying to say that I was not very prepared to resist the Qadiany creed.
In 2000, I heard by a Qadiany who told me about his “sect which in not really a sect”. This Qadiany student told me that in the Qadiany mission house, they have some books in Albanian. This attracted me, since I had not read any Albanian books for a long time. This was a twisted promise, because the primary reason for it was to talk to the Qadiany doctors specialized in brainwashing young eastern European Muslims. I think I should clarify for the sake of not being misunderstood that the Qadianies have not been successful at all in propagating their cult among Eastern European Muslims who live in Western Europe. Most of those who have joined the Qadiany fold, have fled it. My presence in this group lasted about 5 months.
I am not going to go into detail in describing the way I fell in the trap, but I am going to talk about the way I got out of the trap. Eventually I started realizing that I was in some sort of a trap. The more I was learning about the new “reforms”, and the more I was learning about Qadianism and Qadianis in general, the more it was becoming evident that something is wrong.

Mohammad Bashir World Muslim League held its annual conference at Makkah Al-Mukaramma Saudi Arabia from 14 th to 18th of Rabiul Awwal 1394 H (April 1974) in which 140 delegations of Muslim countries and organizations from all over the world participated. I (Mohammad Bashir) too was there in this Conference alongwith the other journalists from all over the world. The Conference unanimously adopted the following Resolution regarding Qadianism. Qadianism or Ahmadiyyat: It is a subversive movement against Islam and the Muslim world, which falsely and decietfully claims to be an Islamic sect; who under the guise of Islam and for the sake of mundane interests contrives and plans to damage the very foundations of Islam. Its eminent deviations from the basic Islamic principles are as follows:
  • Its founder claimed that he was a Prophet. They deliberately distort the meanings of the verses of the Holy Quran. They decalred that Jehad has been obolished.

Qadianism The nineteenth century was unique in the sense that it witnessed a widespread stirring amongst Muslims. In India, during the first quarter, Sayyad Ahmed Shaheed (died 1831 AD) declared Jihad against the tyrant British rule. The response to this declaration was tremendous and full of spirit and a self-sacrificial atmosphere prevailed. The British masters were disturbed, shaken and rattled, they realized the coming threat and gathered together to draw up a solution. After deep study of the character, attitude, belief and temperament of the Muslims, they came to the result that the solution of this increasing problem is to make use of their religious susceptibilities, as this was the only way to reach the innermost recesses of their hearts, as the Muslims were inclined to religion. The British government resolved to raise up a person of religious recognition and position from among the Muslims who should gather a large amount of people around him on religious and spiritual bases and then impart on them loyalty and oblige them with allegiance so that they could freeze them from being a dangerous threat to the British Government. The Government found Mirza Ghulam Ahmed suitable for the mission of crime and deception as he was a victim of frustration and was mentally upset and strived to be a founder of a faith, in order to have followers and devotees. The founder of Qadianism The founder of the Qadiani sect was Ghulam Ahmed, who was born in the town of Qadian from which Qadianism takes it name. Qadian is situated in the district of Gurdaspur, in the province of Punjab, India. Ghulam Ahmed’s father’s name was Mirza Ghulam Murtaza and his mothers name was Chirag Bibi. The second name of the movement was ‘Ahmediyyah’ taken from Ahmed’s name, which at his birth his father prefixed with the epithet of Ghulam, meaning slave of Ahmed. Mirza Ghulam Ahmed proved himself to be totally the opposite and was the enemy of Ahmed rather than the slave, as Ahmed is another name of the Prophet Muhammad The father of Ghulam Ahmed had no avenues of income except for a state pension and suffered financial problems, and as a result Ghulam Ahmed was continuously searching for something better. His habit of lavishly spending what little he had did not allow his financial position to improve. The only way he could improve his financial situation was to win the hearts of rich and wealthy people who would see him as a mentor. Without any proper preparation and previous study, he provoked many ecclesiastical dignitaries and religious pundits in order to achieve popularity and become known by the masses.
