The Religious Educator, Brigham Young University 167 HGB, Provo, UT 84043 Email: catalog@byu.edu
The Religious Educator provides carefully prepared, inspirational, and informative writings on subjects explicitly associated with teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ from the perspective of the Restoration. Published two to three times annually , the Religious Educator seeks to reinforce readers' personal testimonies that God lives, that Jesus is the Christ, and that the Prophet Joseph Smith and all the prophets who have followed him were commissioned by Christ to direct the kingdom of God on earth. The editors welcome well-crafted manuscripts on topics directly related to all facets of teaching the restored gospel, of scripture and doctrine, of LDS Church history, and of devotion.

Presbyterians and Latter-day Saints
From a brochure of the same title, produced and distributed by the Office of Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations, Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), 100 Witherspoon St., Louisville, KY 40202-1396. P resbyterians in many parts of the United States live in close proximity with Mormon neighbors. Historically, these contacts with one another have often involved mutual difficulties. Today Presbyterians are challenged to apply the learnings we are gaining about interfaith relations to our relationships with Latter-day Saints. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, like the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), declares allegiance to Jesus. Latter-day Saints and Presbyterians share use of the Bible as scripture, and members of both churches use common theological terms. Nevertheless, Mormonism is a new and emerging religious tradition distinct from the historic apostolic tradition of the Christian Church, of which Presbyterians are a part. Latter-day Saints understand themselves to be separate from the continuous witness to Jesus Christ, from the apostles to the present, affirmed by churches of the "catholic" tradition.

LDS Young Women
Hi! My name is Lissa Carson. This page was made for my first Laurel Project. This page is dedicated to letting people know what the Young Women's program is all about, and what members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believe in. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to sign my guest book below. I'd love to hear from you! (Hearing from you is the only reward I get!) Shortly after this site's fifth birthday, over 100,000 people had visited this site! Thanks for all your support! THANKS! I appreciate all those who sent me Girl's Camp Songs. I've started adding the songs, so feel free to check them out! I wanted to put a plug in for www.screenit.com, because it's a great site to visit if you want to know if a movie you're going to is clean or not. I've decided against going to see a couple movies once I saw what sort of things were in them. I didn't waste my money on a bad movie, and I didn't have to see or hear anything bad! It's great, check it out!

The Book of Mormon
Church of Latter Day Saints
The Book of Mormon is a record of God's dealings with the ancient inhabitants of the Americas and contains, as does the Book of Mormon, the fullness of the everlasting gospel. We invite you to read the Book of Mormon, to ponder in your heart the message it contains, and the to ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ if the book is true. Those who pursue this course and ask in faith will gain a testimony of its truth and divinity by the power of the Holy Ghost. (See Moroni 10:3-5.) Those who gain this divine witness from the holy Spirit will also come to know by the same power that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, that Joseph Smith is his revelator and prophet in these last days, and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's kingdom once again established on the earth, preparatory to the second coming of the Messiah.

We believe in the fullness of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ as revealed through the Prophet Joseph Smith, Jr., and as commanded to be taught and practiced anew by the Lord in this very day through direct revelation, saying: " Thus saith the Lord." "Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant , we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah." (Is 1:9) We have been called forward as the remnant spoken of so frequently in the scriptures, to establish Zion upon the earth, empowered with the authority and divine directive to do so. This prophesied event is transpiring in the face of the LDS Church's failure to keep their covenants and abide by God's laws. This is the fulfillment of the works of Joseph Smith, Jr. who still reigns as the head of the Dispensation of the Fullness of Times, whose work is to prepare this earth for the return of Jesus Christ, our King. Weekly Quote: "There is nothing short of complete apostasy, a complete denial of every principle we have received, a throwing away of the Holy Priesthood, that can save us from persecution. When this takes place, when all the chief features of the Gospel are obliterated, when we can float along the stream and do as the world does, then and not till then will persecution cease, or until the adversary is bound."

159. LDSS Latter-day Saint Seminar Mailing List
Discussion for saints who teach Sunday School, especially the Gospel Doctrine class. Intended to be scholarly with archived columns for use as resources. Moderated with an unmoderated companion list and digests for both.
http://www.cybcon.com/~kurtn/ldss.html
A Mailing List for Latter-day Saints
LDS Seminar [LDSS] is an email list intended to be a resource for Gospel Doctrine teachers and all Sunday School teachers. As such it's focus will be primarily on the set of Scriptures that are currently being addressed in the course of study.
I envision LDS Seminar as an intelligent conversation on the Scriptures between friends who care more about what is right than who is right. I hope it will be a scholarly conversation, without being pretentious, obscure or obtuse. The main thrust of LDSS is the writing of columns by list members for the perusal of subscribers. These columns are combined and archived, and are intended primarily to assist Gospel Doctrine teachers in specific and Sunday School teachers in general in lesson preparation.
There are two modes of distributing LDSS, based upon list topic and volume. If you choose to subscribe, please choose one of the two. All lists receive the same LDSS lesson material. The difference between the lists is in whether the subscribers are permitted to post. Choose the list that best suits the volume you want to receive.
LDS Seminar [LDSS] is an unmoderated list where subscribers may post at will. The list charter requires conversation to be respectful and on topic. Suitable topics are the Gospel Doctrine lessons, questions associated with the Scriptures pertinent to the current year's Gospel Doctrine lessons, teaching helps, and questions that come up during a Gospel Doctrine/Sunday School class. Off topic material (e.g., humor, general questions, policy speculation, sports, politics, etc.) is actively discouraged. This list is generally
