HLS Latter-day Saints
The HLS Latter-day Saints (HLSLDS) is made up of HLS students and their families who are members of, or interested in, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. HLSLDS provides support for students seeking to maintain a spiritual foundation during their study of the law and allows members to associate with other students who have similar religious backgrounds or interests. Our membership continues to grow from just a handful of students four years ago to over 30 HLS students and their families in 2000. Membership in HLSLDS allows students to meet other LDS students in the Harvard community and other academic institutions in the Boston area. HLSLDS members are invited to attend firesides and participate in Church Educational System events at the Cambridge LDS meetinghouse. Information on HLSLDS activities and organizations throughout the Harvard community, as well as local ward information and meeting times, may be obtained from the Cambridge Institute of Religion at 617-547-6188, or at www.ldsboston.org

Parents who want to strengthen their families know they must have more time with their children and they must protect them from false teachings and toxic social situations. Home school makes it happen! more HomeSchooling from the Inside Out
Home schooling begins with an examination of the family: Who are we? What are our individual and collective strengths, talents, desires? What do we need to learn? How can we serve? How can we continually upgrade? more A Saintly Education
You can hold a textbook-based, secular classroom school in your home, or you can give your children something much better a Saintly education. That means every study begins with what the prophets and the scriptures have to say about the subject.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a theologically conservative, Christian religion, restored to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. Organized in 1830 in upstate New York with just six members, the Church currently has nearly 12 million members. More than 5 million of those members live in the United States, belonging to one of 11,315 congregations. The Latter Day Saints make up roughly 1.8 percent of the total U.S. population, making them the seventh largest religious body in the country.
The Latter Day Saint's participation in the FACT project included a survey of 999 churches randomly chosen from a listing of all congregations in the United States. A total of 969 questionnaires were returned for a 97% response rate. View the version of the questionnaire used by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
