The First Spiritual Temple is a nondenominational Christian Spiritualist Church, founded by Marcellus Seth Ayer on June 28, 1883. Our Christian faith is rooted within the philosophy rather than the modern movement's religion of Spiritualism. Our Spiritualism is both universal and ancient. We seek to understand the many and varied forms of Spiritualism which have existed upon our planet from the moment we stepped into physical form. We perceive Spiritualism as the process whereby all religions came into being as a result of communication with God and God's Kingdom of Spirit. Current News 05/30/2004 Study for Pentecost will begin about 11am (EDST)(10Central) Current News 05/12/2004 As you may have noticed, over the past 6+ months we have not been updating the website or broadcasting. Our son and brother, Rick, was in a car accident in november of 2003. After many months in the hospital God delivered him from both the injuries and the hands of the "doctors". It is truly a miracle. In the end the "doctors" told us unless we allowed them to perform a procedure from which he might die, that he would almost definitely not make it. After calling on God to help make the decision we found we could not give them the permission and felt that, as David did, it was best to fall into the hands of God and not man. Almost from that point on Rick only improved (something that had not happened when the "doctors" were working). Rick is now home and doing better every day thanks to God's mercy and love. I know it is not a thing that is easy to believe without witnessing but I know I have seen a miracle as real as any described in God's Word.
