The Anglican Prayer Network is a fellowship of Christian men and women; we express our faith, as found in the orthodox Anglican tradition; our ministry focuses on praying for men, women, and children who are in need of it. Prayer is a central cornerstone to Christianity; it establishes a direct connection to God the Father. In the New Testament, great emphasis is placed upon prayer; our Lord is in prayer, or teaching his disciples how to pray. Prayer can be very formal, or informal, and can be for any intention; a working professional can pray for a new job; a newly married couple can say a prayer of thanksgiving; an older man or woman can pray for relief from pain; a child can pray for to do well on an upcoming examination.
