Welcome to the Social Psychology Program!
The objectives for predoctoral and postdoctoral training in the Social Program emphasize scholarly competence in all aspects of Social Psychology. The primary aim of the program is to train students who will excel in research careers in academic or other research settings, and who will be able to conduct research on social psychological processes in laboratory and non-laboratory settings. Faculty research interests (listed in the faculty listing) are sufficiently broad that students can be assured of research opportunities in most areas of social psychology, including research methods, attitude change, social cognitive processes, the self, interpersonal processes, and both within- and between-group interactions.
