Industrial and Organizational Psychology : Research and Practice > Customer Review #1: Good overview.

This book presents a good overview of topics in Organizational and Industrial Psychology and was helpful to me in studying for a course. However, I am appalled and irritated with the amount of typographical errors in a book that cost me $100. Theres an error on every other page! Ive encountered at least five just this evening. The content is good but the proofreading needs a lot of attention.

Main Page Industrial/Organizational Psychology MA Department of Psychology Maxwell Becton College of Arts and Sciences College at Florham The graduate program in industrial/organizational psychology is designed to provide a comprehensive, research-oriented background in applied psychology that will enable participants to continue education at the doctoral level or work in certain organizational positions. The Master of Arts in industrial/organizational psychology is considered a research-oriented degree. Although many students in the industrial/organizational program do not go on for advanced degrees, the orientation and experience in independent research (as reflected in the optional thesis) enable them to function more independently as professionals in organizational settings, as well as compete more successfully for doctoral programs.
Requirements for the Master of Arts Degree
All students in the M.A. in industrial/organizational psychology program must register for a minimum of two classes in the fall and spring semesters. Exceptions to this policy may be granted in unusual circumstances. Courses must be taken in the required sequence (see department for sequence list). A total of 42 credits is required.
