TATSUYA NAGASHIMA
Pianist "Resonating with the American Symphony Orchestra, Nagashima's Liszt Piano Concerto No. 1 had the power and warmth. His performance was not only virtuosic, but also, there were delicacy and sensitivity. He fascinated audience with the flowing Liszt, received a long standing ovations... he dazzled audience with an encore, dream like performance of Chopin's nocturne. His sensitive touch and passionate expression made the outstanding performance."
US Frontline, New York, USA (Carnegie Hall Review)
"The Concert was outstanding... Nagashima was splendid. It reminded me of our great discovery of Van Cliburn in 1958, on this very same stage (Tchaikovsky Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory)...he played with great passion, and faultless professionalism."
Sergei Gossachinsky , News Moscow, Russia
"... Tatsuya Nagashima's stirring performance of Beethoven's "Emperor" concerto. Nagashima goes all out for grandiosity in his big-boned reading, playing with an improvisatory quality that unearths premonitions of Franz Liszt's concertos ... full-freshed approach..."

Carlos Juris Professor of Piano, Sibelius Academy, Helsinki, Finland I do not have to try to come up with any good things to say about my experiences at NCSA. They easily flood my mind and warm my heart when I look back at my last three high school years. That wonderful time I had the luck to spend there until my gradu ation in 1975 determined my overall development. By this I mean that not only the educ ation and active musical life contributed to my growth as a professional, but also the rapport with teachers and fellow students from all over the USA and abroad played an important role in my personal growth . . . actually enhanced whatever general picture the Moscow jurors got from me, which, together with the repertoire prepared , eventually made possible my admittance to the Tchaikovsky Conservatory's Music College.
