new since 03.05.2001 You see I am on it! Just corrected plenty of mistakes. Certainly exact this ones, which you saw, and did not told to me!
And there is a new biography! I promised already to publish it a long while ago: Darja Goremykina , young and very talented pianist from St. Petersburg!
    Greetings from Paris
yours marek new since 26.04.2001 So, dear visitor, I have to admit, that this update took really too long this time! But I have to confess something terrible: I was too lazy, or I have had no inspiration or I have had no time ... to work on these pages. Don't know exactly, what was the real reason. A little bit of everything. But the real truth behind all this: there were someone, a very nice boy, who promised to work over the grafic layout, it was progressing and progressing, I was most inspired, wanted to make a great professional surprise for you, kind visitor, but, as life plays, I have not heard anything from him, since two month now! So you have to wait again, for the new grafical outfit of these pages, and have to bear with me. Frankly, I can hardly work on these pages, without shuddering over the naiv layout.
As you may realize, I already started on myself to make a new outfit. I cut out all these terrible calc backgrounds. External links, leading out of these pages will have now a little pictogramm:

The piece, which was created in the "spatial music" style that Brant has pursued since 1950, involves the placing of instrumental sections of an orchestra in various locations in a concert hall for sonic and expressive effect. Brant has composed more than 100 pieces of spatial music during his career, many of which mix musical styles ranging from traditional classical to Balinese gamelan, jazz, bluegrass and others.
Ice Field was commissioned by the Other Minds Festival in San Francisco and was given its world premiere in December by Michael Tilson Thomas and the San Francisco Symphony.
