Even with this, Derek Sherinian is a musician that generates polemic, whichever is the step he gives. But he has been proving his habilities, his high technical level, and a vast horizon as a composer, with each solo album, and also with the development of Planet X. From the most criticized musician that Dream Theater ever had, Sherinian became one of the most recognized and successful musicians of the present time. Even his enemies from the Dream Theater times, today approve and follow his releases. Let's start with something important, but boring to talk about, since it already happened and you did answer many questions about this. DEREK SHERINIAN - That was a freak incident that happened very shortly after September 11. I am sorry for the comments that I made, I was just deeply hurt when the crowd started yelling. But I did a huge press conference there where I apologized to all of Brazil- even though I only intended to insult the porto allegreans!
